Best Nest Box Reversible Rollout Chicken Nest Box (Small - 17")

Love how easy this is to put together. I was concerned that my hens would even go in it since we had rebuilt an entirely new coop.The first two days, they didn't go into it so on the third day I put just a little straw in it. Instantly, they went in and started laying eggs. After a day I pulled the straw out and they are using it consistently. If you put straw in the boxes, the eggs will not roll out. The eggs drop just like stated and they are clean.The perch is a nice feature and there is enough room for them to sit on it. The hooks to hang it are perfect.I definitely suggest purchasing this.

Product Instructions to assemble were pretty good, there are some good accessories to go along with it, but I had to go to the manufacturers website. I also found where I could get it for $100 less expensive on the manufacturer website. Make sure you do your price checking before purchasing.I haven’t put this product to use yet but in theory, it seems great; chicken lays eggs, eggs roll down to where they can’t mess them up or peck them. I will update my review After I had a chance to install.

This nesting box helped fix my chickens eating their own eggs. It also resulted in cleaner eggs. Works very well. The only negative is that the rail in front is not supported from underneath and will lay at a slant on top of the metal egg tray. It was easy to fix using a 2x4 board with a notch cut into it to support the rail.

I read a few reviews prior to purchase regarding the high price; but I went ahead and bought it based on others’ high marks and I’m so glad I did! As they say, you get what you pay for and this was well worth the price. It is heavy duty galvanized steel and fairly simple to assemble although I did require my wife to assist with holding the roof panel in place until I got a bolt in on both sides. My big surprise is that my hens used it the very first day - and that was even being moved to an entirely new location. Believe me, you will love this nest box! Eggs roll out nice and clean as indicated.

I love that this nestbox needs hardly any cleaning. It was easy to assemble (YouTube instructions).VALUE? How much would you pay to have no dirt or Chicken crap on your eggs? Or, broken/eaten eggs. No habitat for cooties?It took a week for all 21 of my chickens to learn to use it.I also purchased the Perch Popper. After gathering the eggs, I lift the perch up to keep the birds from sleeping (read "crapping") in the nest box. 6 hours later the Perch Popper drops the bar back down for the next day. This saves me 9 miles of driving just to drop the perch down. My Chickens live at my daughter's homestead.Buy both. Its worth the price.

Not all our girls are laying in it but the nubers are slowly going up😁 very happy with both of our boxes. We were not sure if we had eggs eaters. As soon as we installed we got 10 eggs, now 15 ….also eggs are clean!!

At first glance I thought this was hen gear. In my rush I didn’t dive into the details. It’s cheaply made with less features but more expensive than hen gear!!! Don’t be fooled like I was.
