Solid Build, But Oops on Compatibility!
Upon unboxing the Moman MG6 Gimbal Handle, my first impression was its substantial weight, indicative of its almost solid metal construction. The wooden portion, noticeably less cold than the metal, adds a touch of elegance to its appearance. However, I’m unsure if it’s more than a thin veneer.Regrettably, I overlooked checking its compatibility with my existing gear. While I don’t own a Zhiyun Weebill S, I do have an extensive collection of camera equipment. I mistakenly assumed that it would be compatible with at least one of my devices. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The threaded attachment appears to be the common 1/4"-20, but the anti-rotation pins do not align with my equipment. I’ve attached photos showing the gap between my Canon EOS R5 and the handle, and one with it lined up against the 1/4"-20 threads w/anti-rotation on a ProMediaGear PLX3T for reference. Interestingly, the anti-rotation pins are also rotated 90 degrees away from each other. This allows me to connect it to the top of the bracket and use it to hold the camera close to the ground, although it is prone to rotation. See the attached picture. In conclusion, while the Moman MG6 Gimbal Handle boasts a robust build and aesthetic appeal, ensure to check its compatibility with your gear before purchase. Now, I know what you’re thinking: “Isn’t compatibility the first thing you should check before buying something?” And you’d be right! In my excitement to try out this new piece of gear, I overlooked that crucial step. So here I am, with a robust and aesthetically pleasing gimbal handle that doesn’t fit any of my devices. But hey, let’s keep that between us, okay? My wife doesn’t need to know!

Not comfortable in hand and heavy. It only fits Zhiyun Weebill S.
This thing is much heavier that I expected. It weights 7 ounces (198 grams). Is big enough so it feels secure in my hand, but is not comfortable because its shape is not ergonomic. That wood-like piece saves a bit. This is designed for Weebill S and won't fit other gimbals because of those two anti-rotation pins. This should have been mentioned in the product title or at least in the description.

Feels really solid but is not ergonomic for your hands, I wish we'll be a little more

High-quality grip. Not compatible with all gimbals.
This grip is high-quality, although not quite compatible with my gimbal. I was able to screw it to the bottom of the handle of my gimbal. It does allow me to use two hands while operating, so it does work. The handle is well-made. It’s got some good heft to it because it’s made of metal with wood accent. The wood is absolutely gorgeous. I wish the lock pins were spring loaded so that this could be more easily used on various items, but the pins are solid. The grip can still be screwed onto various pieces of equipment but the pins may block your ability to safely tighten the units together.Even with that drawback, this is a great item to have in the photography bag. If nothing else, it looks cool just sitting on a shelf by itself as a conversation piece. Ha ha.Although it does make my gimbal easier to use, I’m going to try it on my cell phone, adapter, and other pieces of photography equipment I have. There is no reason why this will not work on my portable lights or anything else I may want to c”maneuver using a grip handle.I recommend this grip but know that it may not fit your particular gimbal.

SOLID construction. Looks great as well.
if you've ever used a DSLR on a gimbal to shoot video than you know why you need a second grip. They get heavy and even that 10 inches or so of distance adds a lot of leverage/weight. There's a cold-shoe mount at the end that's ideal for a small monitor, and the grip is smooth but still ergonomic. At first I thought "Look at all those mounting holes! 1/4-20 and 3/8-20 - all over the place. But if you're using it as a grip, your hand is going to cover 95% of them. The ones at the very top or bottom could be used, but the other ones would be covered. So this could also double as an accessory mounting post instead of a grip, but that's not really practical in most situations. But it's still nice to have the options. The grip is comfortable and it's a quality piece of kit.

Competent handle
I found it comfortable enough in use; others prefer rubber or a bit more contour but I did not have any such issues (granted, test shoot wasn’t hours upon hours). Even a little bit of wood goes a long way there. I think if anything it could be slightly longer for getting a hair lower to the ground comfortably, but I think it’s comparable to similar products in that regard. As others have mentioned though, carefully check the anti-rotation pins - this is not something that’s universal across all types of camera rigging. This is also usable in a pinch as a side handle if you already have a cage and appropriate extension.

Ideal as a second Grip for my Ronin, though I wonder if it would be better to have a rubber grip
As others have stated, this handle is very well made, has a substantial weight to it and has all the Nato holes you need to add extras. The cold shoe at the end is also a nice touch for me to add my wireless transmitter to. Very pleased with the grip. The wood is very good quality. I'm mindful that if I have this fitted so the handle is above above and vertical to the Ronin that this is a lot of weight below. While this feels substantial and firmly screwed in place - it doesn't move or feel loose at all - but I think I prefer a grip that has a rubberized insert for fear of this slipping in my hand. Perfect though for one of two handles to hold the Ronin out in front with them placed either side of the gimbal. Well made, solid and good quality, it's perfect for most situations in using my Ronin for tracking shots.
