Great scooter with some acceleration bugs
Love it! I have a cheap GoTrax for quick runs or riding in sketchy areas. I save the Segway for long rides or round trips. So far it’s been a dream! App is very useful and gives an estimate of remaining ride time and miles left on charge. Lots of great settings in the app. Recover some charge during braking, eco vs sport/drive mode for longer rides vs faster acceleration. I get about 25 miles a charge even when I was pushing 225 pounds. Only complaint is the speed dial gets stuck on sometimes. So I end up accelerating longer than wanted. I prefer to let my scooter decelerate over time instead of braking. So this is a safety hazard! But not severe enough to try and get a repair. Also it tends to stay accelerated even if I pump the speed or brakes sometimes so it ends up bucking forward without me. One other complaint: it refuses to go if tilted at too steep of an angle. My GoTrax will give it a fair go but the Segway shuts off even if I push assist with a foot. So be prepared to walk it up hills.

good quality portable e-scooter
Perfect e-scooter for a city or a suburb! It looks nice and rides smoothly. It's suspension able to absorb small bumps quite well. The scooter is light-weight and portable enough to carry it upstairs/downstairs. it fits into the trunk of almost any car. Max speed is slightly above 20 mph. Battery live is more than 3 hours at 15-20 mph. In eco mode it runs all day long. Very good quality and very comfortable vehicle!

Outstanding, silent and fast with a great app!
These are outstanding and in my opinion, the brand to buy. There are many brands out there but with Segway behind this you get an excellent app that allows you to change MANY settings, upgrade the firmware, and doubles as a screen while you're riding (I also recommend the Ninebot phone holder). The "find my" feature is also a nice touch. These things are nearly silent and fast, and they feel very secure while riding. The handlebar width is bigger than most which helps you have a more secure stance. I think the only improvement they could make would be weight (they are a little on the heavy side, but similar to competing models) and foldability. These do fold but it would be nice if the handlebar would collapse to decrease the storage width. Highly recommend!

Climbs hills. Good range. Strong build.
My previous scooter was a generic clone of a popular low-cost Xiaomi scooter. For $200 more, this Ninebot F2 Pro is immeasurably better in every metric. HANDLING: The handlebars are wide enough for good maneuverability. It feels more stable than the generic scooter. When I ride this scooter, it doesn't feel like I'm on the edge at all times, it's a more relaxed ride. I have enabled the stability enhancement feature in the settings but don't really understand how it works. SUSPENSION: These 10-inch air tires coupled with a front-only suspension feel much smoother than the generic scooter with front and back suspension and 10-inch solid tires. My knees don't feel sour after an 11-mile ride. BRAKES: Excellent braking power, even while going downhill. The front wheel has a proper mechanical disc brake. I configured the battery regen setting at Medium so it helped with braking. The scooter didn't exceed 16 mph while traveling down a medium hill thanks to that feature. If you ride this scooter in city blocks and time the distance to the intersection properly, you will rarely use the manual brake lever. HILL CLIMBING: I live in San Francisco and we have 4 levels of hills: small, medium, big, and heart attack. This scooter can climb a medium hill at a consistent speed of 13 mph, which is very impressive for the price and the single motor. It feels powerful and fast. In comparison, the generic scooter was unable to climb the upper half of the same medium hill without assistive kicks. DISTANCE: I weigh 165 lbs and used the max 20mph speed setting. I rode it in the city so the scooter had to slow down at every intersection. I release the throttle after crossing 3/4th of the block to allow it to slow down instead of braking hard at the intersection. I traveled 11 miles with 30% battery left. The terrain was approximately 33% flat, 29% small hill, 5% medium hill, and 33% downhill. Sometimes I used the throttle while riding down the small hills because the battery regen feature slowed it down too much, so I plan to configure it to the Lowest setting. The generic scooter also had a battery regen feature but that felt like a gimmick compared to this. I'm happy with the range. If you live in a flat city and use a slower speed, you'll get a very long range from this. APP: There were three firmware updates immediately after logging into the app. You can customize pretty much everything. Pairing its built-in AirTag with my iPhone required only a minute. ADDONS: The hook is great; I can hang groceries and other stuff. The brake light is big and visible. Turn lights are a nice addon. I will update this review after several weeks. UPDATE: Have been using it for 5 months for about an hour a day without a problem. It has seen multiple rains and a fall. Brakes still work great.

Overall amazing: Pros: - Can compact the scooter down to be able to carry on transit or in the back of a car. - Range is good, I did something like 30-36KM on the highest speed setting, with lights on around Toronto to get back home before the subway opened up and had around 10-15% left. - Bell included (also has a horn but I haven’t used it) - Running, break and turn lights included. Great visibility with the front headlight. - Has some built in security features like setting a passcode to power on the device and allows to connect to Apple tracking. Cons (not deal breakers): - Headlight is a bit too bright, would’ve been nice to have a high and low setting, although probably better to be visible to other road users. - Can be a bit too heavy to lug around, not really much that can be changed though. - If you’re not a huge fan of connecting to apps to register the product this might not be for you although I get why they did this to try and reduce theft resells by registering it to an account. Also, if you do get this for the love of god don’t go on busy roads and TO FOLLOW traffic laws. This thing can go pretty fast and I can see a lot of people getting carried away thinking they are a nimble car that doesn’t have to obey stop signs and lights. I’ve seen people drive in cars blindspots to get around and other dangerous maneuvers. This is an extremely affordable alternative to a car where insurance can be 600+ a month for new drivers (thanks Toronto for that) to get around the city. Don’t be a knob and ruin it.

Runs perfectly and a small learning curve to learn how to use the scooter. It's my first scooter. I enjoyed it and it was fun!
