This is a great card game for kids and adults! It was easy to learn, and it’s fun to play because each round is a bit different. There’s enough luck to keep it light and fun for kids. It’s also not boring for adults, which is always nice!! It’s football themed, but you don’t need to know anything about football to play.

We absolutely LOVE. THIS. GAME! So often we are looking for new fun games and can never find anything that we keep going back to. But Fourth Down has completely changed the game! It's incredibly easy to learn and set up and let's be honest, who doesn't love football? The packaging is amazing and the instructions are clear and got us enjoying the game almost immediately. It's perfect for the whole family. And the best part -- it's compact and you can take it anywhere! We love taking it to restaurants and playing to help pass the time before our food comes. No other game packs this much value into such a small package. At the end of the day, this game isn't just a touchdown, it's a Super Bowl Championship winner!!!

We bought this gift for our 9-year-old grandson and he really likes playing it. It's a great card game -- easy to learn and the grownups enjoy playing too! Good stocking stuffer!

My son enjoyed playimg this card game although the instructions were a little confusing for him. The cards were small and portable.

Neat new game. Fun and fast. Husband and 3 boys ages 10 - 15 thought it was great!

This game has really nothing to do with football. You could play it with a regular deck of cards without the football theme just as easily. All you do is play an equal or higher number card and the person who plays all their cards first wins. The football cards like fumble and interception and timeout and touchdown are just different wild cards. You’re not actually playing a football card game, just a card game with football themed cards. So I feel like the description is pretty misleading. It was a gift for a football obsessed kid, so it was kind of disappointing in that respect. The game itself is fun tho, simple, fast-paced, easy to learn, and kids and adults alike have enjoyed it. After his initial disappointment, said football obsessed kid has played it repeatedly, and even football averse siblings have enjoyed it. The cards are really high quality, glossy and sturdy. They feel more like plastic (in a good way) than cards. So overall we like it, and I recommend it, but don’t expect to be “the excitement of football in a card game” like the description says.

It takes a few minutes to learn the game, so be patient & watch the short how to video. Once you learn, it’s so fun & different! It has just enough complexity to keep families entertained for hours & simple enough for 7/8 year old kids. You don’t have to know or like football to play.

Way more complicated than necessary...a stocking stuffer "bust".
