For older cars, this is a wonderful way to add blue tooth connectivity.
This stupid thing. Seriously. Who needs one of these in 202X? Well, if you have an older car that you couldn't justify upgrading the stereo in, than you do . . . I bought this for an old Saab, and particularly bought this model because it sits more flush than the goose-neck models. My car is a stick, and this is completely out of the way and perfectly sits where I need it.There are a couple things I don't love. One, the lights always default to on. They're easy enough to turn off, but that's the first thing I do every time I plug it in, or start the car: double click the bottom button and disable the LED light show. I know some people may like it, but I find it annoying. The other issue is it can be a little tricky to figure out how to set it up. I've had other models that were a breeze to change the tuning station, but this is a little more finicky and hard to do on the road if you need to. So, for local drives, this is 100% set it and forget it (just double click to turn of the LED each time it starts up), but for longer road trips where you're reaching for the dial to stop station bleed, it's a little more of a pain. Still, nothing I would fault this unit for. It does what it does and in a very small footprint.Sound quality is excellent, especially if you use Radio-Locator.com and the unused station option. On a road trip this is a one-stop-shop for location aware finding of unused channels and a drive from Seattle to LA usually only needs three to four adjustments. Find the right channel (we've always been able to) and it's crystal clear, zero static, and works perfectly. Sure, it's not as easy as having a blue tooth connection to your car's radio, but this is also an item that can be had for a fraction of the price of a stereo upgrade (especially considering installation, any power or wiring changes needed, etc, etc, etc) and it just works, period. If you're looking and wondering if this thing is what you need to be streaming music to your older car's stereo . . . I can say, without a doubt, you'll be happy.

Works Great In my '89.
Works way better than I expected. I have an 89 Trans Am and have been using the tape deck adapter for my iPhone. It works but the sound is just, eh. Pairing to the radio and then to to my phone took all of 30 seconds. Sound quality is great. I can still hear a faint static in the background but for a car from the 80's, Ill take it. Two things to note: 1. Turn the volume all the way up on the transmitter and then control the volume from your car and 2. If you have an older car like mine, you will most likely have to unplug it every time you leave the vehicle as the older cars still fed power to the cigarette lighter, therefore, when you shut the car off the transmitter is still powered on. Probably not a big deal if you are just out and about but if you leve it like that for an extended period, it will drain the battery. But I am very happy with the sound and that I can charge my phone at the same time.

Best Buy I got
Amazing works perfectlyConnects my phone right away and automatically. Fits good in the car and charge my phone really fast.Took me one minute to connect itThe only thing that was hard was to find an open radio station but that’s not related to the device itself.I usually just put the volume on max and the. Control it from the car which makes it easier to use but to change it from the device itself is easy and fast.Best purchase I had and wasn’t even expensive.

Had to try at least 3 stations
It was frustrating to try so many stations only to have it fail. After at least three different stations it finally worked but with a bit of static. If a water bottle or hand is near the device it will produce static.

Why didn't I buy this sooner
Impressive product. Very easy to install with easy to follow directions. Finding the correct spot on your FM radio is important, take time to do it correctly. This sounds better than my FM radio does off of broadcast channels. I love it!

Too Simple! Bluetooth Audio Through my non-Bluetooth 2005 Dakota Stereo Radio Speakers! WOW!
Absolutely Zero Wiring! Literally, "Plug 'n' Play"! (1) Plug this device into your cigarette lighter socket, (2) select a "dead" FM frequency, (3) save that frequency to a "pre-set" button on your radio, (4) pair your smartphone to your new "coupler", and Done! Now simply select a favorite source, say, "Pandora", or "SiriusXM", etc.. on your phone, play your favorite tunes, and listen to clear, fully customizable, surround-sound, live or pre-recorded music of your personal choice . . . all day long!

Bomb
I don’t usually write reviews . I bought this for my 2004 Toyota Corolla and the bass booster is such a blessing to my ears . In general being able to play music through Bluetooth is wonderful but the bass booster is the cherry on top. Very happy with my purchase .

Good Quality and Affordable
It worked really well, I tried finding an aux port or any other type of Bluetooth way to be able to play my music on my car and this is what saved me from having a silent drive everywhere. Now I can listen to my music on the drive to work, friends house or etc. it was very easy to connect and adjust to the car/phone.
