Good product to increase Wi-Fi speed
A little bit on the expensive site for a Wi-Fi router. But it has worked perfectly, and I’ve had no problems out of it. Great speed and very durable.

Works well. No issues.
Works well. Easy to set up. I had issues but that is on my internet provider's fault. This modem has been working well for 4 days now. Will update in the future if anything happens. Update: It's been like 5 months now. I've been using internet via this thing without any issues. One thing I gotta say is my internet service is 50mbps, way below the capability of this modem router, so I cannot comment in term of max speed. I do get all my 50mbps. I have Xfinity. This device has been very reliable with my current service. I never had to restart the router due to drop connection in the past 5 months. (I had this issue a lot in the past, not sure if due to other modems/router or due to my previous internet services.) This device got 5Ghz wifi which allows me to play Xbox games from the cloud. In short, great device, I'm glad I bought this. I actually bought a used one here for maybe a third or a quarter the cost of a new unit

Works with Cox internet!
Update: After multiple calls to Cox I finally spoke with a technician supervisor. He confirmed that this device does work with Cox’s system. He says the technician who came to my house didn’t know what he was doing. He said he would have another technician call me to schedule a time to come back out. I never got a call back, but the internet started working the next day. I have upgraded my railing on this product. Cox deserves the 1 star review. The only upside to all of this is that Cox waived all installation fees. This device is not compatible with Cox internet. I had a Cox technician come to my home today to setup my internet and he spent almost an hour trying to get everything to work. After several calls back to the Cox office, he was informed this device is not compatible with Cox's system.

Happy with my choice to buy
I bought the model suggested by my internet provider. It is a worthwhile purchase if you know you’ll be in the same place with the same provider for a while. I paid enough in router box rental fees to buy two of these. Just don’t throw out the little quick start paper: it has the password you need to use the box!

workhorse!
hasn't stopped since I put its into use - always performed and freed me from the 'equipment rental' charges for good!

Absolute garbage product from a garbage company
tl;dr: This product failed after two months and Arris makes it nearly impossible to replace it under the warranty. I bought this modem to replace another Motorola/Arris model that had served me well for several years. The modem installed easily enough with Comcast, though it was a bit confusing since there are two MAC addresses on the bottom of it, and it wasn't clear which one to use. So, I had to go through the install process twice. Configuration is pretty easy using the included web interface, so no complaints there. The WiFi signal seemed pretty strong, too, although I ended up adding an access point in the upstairs of my house because it couldn't quite reach my home office. The modem worked great for about two months. But then about a week ago, my network started dropping out and I would have to reset it multiple times per day (even though the lights on the modem indicated a working connection). (Note: there are a lot of other reviews on here saying the same thing has happened to other people.) Not only that, but my home network would go down, too. The router was basically freezing up. Obviously, even if Comcast was having a problem on their end, that shouldn't bring my entire network down, right? At this point, I tried a factory reset, but the same thing kept happening. So I called Arris tech support. Long story short, Arris tech support blamed Comcast (saying the signals were too strong), who in turn blamed Arris (and laughed at the notion that they could just "turn the signals down" per Arris' suggestion). I even put a splitter on the line to get the signal power within the proper range, but it kept happening. The Arris tech tried to blame the wiring and said that I needed to have a technician come out. I pointed out that I would have to pay for that, and that Comcast would likely tell me everything was fine (I have fairly new wiring and very reliable, fast speeds up until last week), and even then, that wouldn't explain why my internal network kept going down. I asked him what exactly it would take to convince him that it was the modem, and he refused to answer, other than to say we would have to do more troubleshooting. (And honestly, what more troubleshooting can you do other reset it?) At this point, I had spent a couple hours on the phone with Arris and Comcast, and I just gave up (which I think is what they intended) and bought another brand of cable modem, and things have been working fine thus far.

Good Decision - Happy with Modem
It's been almost 9 days since I replace my clunky, big, hot Spectrum Internet modem with this Arris modem. My Internet connection has not dropped once since I connected it up. With the Spectrum modem it was dropping almost every day (which if you work from home is a real pain). Setup was super easy. Moved the 2 cables from my Spectrum modem to the Arris, called the cable company and asked them to activate the modem. Took less than 10 minutes for the whole thing. NOTE: 1. Change the password on the modem as soon as you set it up. Very important! 2. If you have another device at home that provides wireless connectivity, like I do, disable the wireless connectivity on the modem - you don't need it - and it protects you from drive by wireless hackers (they are out there). You will see the 2 wireless lights on the front of the modem go out. So far, very happy with this purchase. I will return my Spectrum modem, and most likely my Spectrum cable box too. Spectrum is constantly raising prices - it never ends - and I rarely watch cable TV anymore - it's all crap. I have transitioned to steaming TV, and no longer need the cable company for TV.

Loved the idea of reducing clutter and was very easy to install to only realize that Cogeco doesn't accept it
