A Must-Have for Forgetful People Like Me!
I can’t believe I went this long without a Galaxy SmartTag2. I attached it to my keys and instantly felt more at ease knowing I could track them if they ever got lost. Setup was super easy through the SmartThings app, and the Bluetooth range is surprisingly solid. Even when I left my keys at a friend’s house, I was able to see the last known location and get them back quickly. The design is sleek and minimal, and the battery life so far has been excellent. The new ring-shaped top makes it easy to attach to just about anything—backpacks, wallets, luggage, even pet collars. If you’re in the Samsung ecosystem, this is a no-brainer. It’s reliable, fast, and incredibly useful.✅ Pros:Easy setupLong battery lifeCompact and sleek designAccurate tracking through SmartThings❌ Cons:Only compatible with Samsung

Redesigned to Do Even More
The Galaxy SmartTag2 is like a trusty sidekick for your valuables. Here’s why it’s a game-changer:Track with Ease: Whether your keys are hiding under the couch or your bag decided to explore the great outdoors, the SmartTag2 has your back. It uses Bluetooth Low Energy and ultra-wideband (UWB) tech to help you find lost items.Water and Dust Resistant: Worried about accidental splashes or dusty adventures? Fear not! The SmartTag2 is IP67-rated, which means it can handle up to 1 meter (about 3 feet) of water for 30 minutes. Splash away! 💧Long Battery Life: With up to 500 days of power (yes, you read that right!), this little tag won’t give up easily. And if you switch to Power Saving Mode, it can go even longer – up to 40% more! 🕰️SmartThings Find: Register your SmartTag2 with SmartThings Find, and you’ll never have to retrace your steps. It’s like having a personal search party in your pocket. 🕵️♂️Search Nearby: Activate this feature, and your phone will guide you to your lost item’s location via Compass View. If it’s still playing hide-and-seek, just ring the SmartTag2 – it’ll make some noise! 🔊Lost Mode: If someone finds your lost item, they’ll see your contact info on their phone (regardless of their OS). It’s like leaving a digital breadcrumb trail. 📲Tagged and Trendy: Dress up your SmartTag2 with a colorful Silicone Case or a rugged Rugged Case. Both come with a carabiner ring for easy attachment. Fashion meets function! 👜

LOVE IT
I have an RV that I have hauled for myself as I travel the US. I wanted to know where my RV was as I drove to my next destination without it. I was a day or two ahead, so I could track how far away they were. This is my home, so I didn't want anything happening to it, so putting this tracker in my RV helped me not worry as much. It was easy to set up, works great, and connects fast.

Could be a substitute for Tile products.
I am testing out the effectiveness of the Samsung Tag to see if it could be a useful replacement to Tiles products. Since I do jot.own and.Apple Product, the airtags are not a solution for my purposes.I use the Tile products on keys and my bikes as an added way of finding them should they be stolen or lost. Since Tile is owned by Life360, I think the premium Tile service that I pay $29 a year for will now go to $130 a year.In my tests so far, the Samsung tag has worked well in showing a history of where it has been. May not be as precise a path of its locations but close enough, the Tile products seems to be more accurate in this area. It is better when it has not moved for a period of time to pinpoint locations. The sound it makes is a but weak when compared to other products when trying to locate it using uour phone. One feature I do like a lot is the replaceable battery. Apple Airtags also have replaceable batteries. Most all Tile products do not have replaceable batteries. The may well be a good option to replace Tile for those non apple phone users.

Great price
This is my second one. Great for traveling and keeping track of where your luggage is. I've had my first one for a couple of years. The battery lasts quite a while. It has a nice compact design. My SmartThings app connects to it flawlessly. It makes a loud sound when you try to find it. It's definitely a keeper.

Works well for general area
Works good to know what general area something is in. Not for live tracking as its not GPS

Awesome little tracker!!
Great thing in a little package!! I went from Iphone / AirTag to Samsung.Samsung trackers are way much better!!! This is ease to use and setup. sized perfectly to go along with keys, Does exactly what I needed - helps me locate my car keys when I put them down somewhere and the kids move then somewhere else!! It’s like having a personal search party in your pocket-Activate this feature, and your phone will guide you to your lost item’s location via Compass View. If it’s still playing hide-and-seek, just ring the SmartTag2 – it’ll make some noise! These have alittle button you can program to use with other smartthings in your home( Lights, garage doors) an is so much louder than an AirTag.
