I'm on my third go round with this clog. It cleared the clog for a day or two. But after using the toilet with a minimal amount of toilet paper, I had to clear it using the full 25 ft. I'm not convinced that I've cleared it forever because they only clues I have are two tiny pieces of what looks like a sock. At least I know this auger works, even if it's only temporary. Beware that the wire coil is easily bent. Even the video on their review doesn't show you how you should load it. You have to slowly push the auger through the toilet trap or it will bend and make trouble. I had to use pliers and needle nose pliers to do my best to straighten out what was bent. I never really got it all the way straight. Although those bends might create a wider scraping arc. I did follow the example in the video where I would pull it out and then put it back through and try to move it around rather than going in a straight line. If you're using a drill attachment which I highly recommend, it does get heavy and you'll end up with cramps in your forearms from wrangling it (if you're a weak female like me). I'm on my third clearing over the last week and fingers crossed that this is the last. But I'm not taking any of the tools out of the bathroom until I'm sure and I'm certainly not using it for number two because who wants to see that. Can't complain when considering how much plumber money I saved.

Feels like the best 32 bucks I ever spent. This Drain Auger was exactly what I needed. After multiple disassemblies of a bathroom sink drain, liquid plumber stuff of two types, 6 ft long flexible grabby things and multiple days of failing and ending up with a full sink again. I went for it again today with this tool, removed the sink trap so I could get to my pipe going into the wall again and had it cleared in under 5 minutes. But the Drain Auger!!!

So glad we purchased this! It really made a big difference for all the hair & gunk out in 5 mins. Definitely get this if you have drain issues. The price was very good for the snake!

This thing was sturdy and well made. Was expecting it to be way more flimsy after reading some reviews. It saved me hundreds of dollars. My kitchen sink has been slow draining for about a year, but a few nights ago the slow drain became a no drain. I ordered this and it got here today. Directions were straight forward and went well. I will add you should prep your area with a paper bag to drape the area and a plastic bag open and ready to receive the ewwww, prep yourself with some vicks under the nose as the smells are abundant in this process, and then about 6 paper towels ready to go to clean the snake as you pull it back out of the drain and push back in the canister. So happy I got this one! Turns out my ex lost a dr brown's baby bottle brush in the sink (i was really missing it too) and that created the clog point. Worth every penny. Also premade myself a mint tea Boba as a treat, because that was necessary, but not fun!
