Great light unit at a great price, tested and working OK, really bright, 100% satisfied with this item, it arrived adequately packed each piece was in it's own cardboard sleeve and then the everything is wrapped again in another box with the two bulbs along side the unit. The instructions are quite basic but personally I didn't find them necessary as the assembly is very simple and tends to speak for it's self so it is quite obvious what goes where.

This is a lightweight and easy to install LED light suitable for a garage or similar area. The description states it is IP65 rated, and also suitable for 'petrochemical' applications, but there's no marking on the unit itself to indicate it is suitable for these types of environment. The construction is lightweight and the seals are at best adequate but not great. That said, for a garage or outhouse it should be fine. I bought two for a garage and both have been working well for a week or so now, so I can't comment on longevity of the LEDs, but currently they are producing a bright, evenly distributed light. Fast delivery and good communication from the seller, so no complaints from me regarding the purchase.

I had installed the previous version of this light in another house, so luckily I knew what I was getting into so to speak. In fact the supplied instructions related to that exact previous/other model, which wasn’t much use with this one! Hence the comments in other reviews - it does make it a little testing and clearly we’re all being sent the same! I have just fitted this in my garage, replacing a single bulb so a dramatic improvement - I can now actually work in there and do stuff, no problem, which was the plan. First issue is the brackets, they must go in a precise position/width apart which I learnt by error first time. The tubes aren’t as delicate as somebody else suggests (makes them sound like egg shells!) but clearly you can’t knock them about, plus yes they are covered in protective cellophane so remove it after fitting completed - lack of instructions not helped any of us here! I suggests clicking the end contacts (4) for the tubes into the metal plate first of all, then fit the tubes as suggested by twisting them to end on the horizontal. You’ll then need to wire this up before this can be simply clicked into the base you will previously secured. I don’t follow the confusion of one reviewer just make sure you match L N & E and you can’t go wrong but ensure it’s tight and you isolate the supply first! The top lens/diffuser goes on quite easily, fit the clips first before you offer up the diffuser, it clicks together nicely. Overall, nice little project, I enjoyed the test and the light is superb, very pleased. I recall the other light I fitted also advised how you might fit these in series, so if you wanted two or three in a larger space.

The light given off the fitting is good and bright. Assembling and fitting was rather fiddly and gave a few heart stopping moments whilst inserting the light tubes which felt like they may break easily. The tubes also had dents in although being packed in cardboard which suggests quality control isn’t great. The overall quality is flimsier than I had hoped for and I would do some more research for future purchases of this type of product. Essentially this is a cheaply produced fitting which is not reflected in its price which I feel is greater than its worth. Addendum: Not sure I did the right thing but ordered another unit on the basis that it works well enough and really could not find anything else. It’s still dear for what it is but I’ve added a star🙄

Got one of these to replace a fluorescent lightin the stables, thought I would try it out first and see what it was like. Exceeded expectations, easy to fit , water proof, whilst not felling like the most robust fittings, once fitted and up out of the way of the horses should not be any problem at all. The light is fantastic and far superior to fluorescent tubes and there is no flickering while the light comes on. Instant light. Was that impressed I’ve ordered another two to replace other fluorescent lights.

Arrived in pieces as a kit. The internal wiring wasn't even complete. Instructions were entirely inadequate.

Flimsy and very cheaply made but works, enough said.

Bought this to replace an old fashioned fluorescent fitting in my garage, (hung from two chains) simple to assemble and lighter than the original. Diffuser works well to spread the light from the LEDs evenly, clean white light and brighter than the original.
