This was my third pair of Mephisto shoes. Good, well made and comfortable from th day I received them. My first pair did develop a rather annoying squeak after a couple of years but the other pairs are ok so far

Although Mephistos are horribly expensive they are superbly comfortable and hard wearing as well as waterproof.Highly recommended.

I do like these shoes. They are more expensive than shoes that are not as good! The first pair I ever bought I had not checked the price, but decided Later to buy more online as they were cheaper that buying in a retail outlet. I liked my second pair so much I had them reconditioned in France! I am now on my fourth pair, and have three pairs (not all the same) that I still use. They fit me perfectly and are well constructed.
