Does exactly what it says. I punched my first custom card with this and it turned out nice, the machine read it fine and there were no tears or snags in the paper. I knocked off a star for a couple minor things: the compartment that holds the punched paper circles is very hard to open, and the puncher part itself was dirty with some kind of grease that got on my paper. It's not very easy to spot and seemed to have stopped after punching half the sheet or so, but it could have been clean. Overall though, it does what I need it to do and I'm happy with it!

This works - sort of. The punch came in pieces, and is very poorly constructed, although it is made of metal. The die that punches the holes is dull, so very often the holes are incompletely punched, and hanging off the back. I purchased the blank cards from this seller as well, I believe, and the paper is cheap and easily ripped, so pulling the hanging chad off of the back of the card can rip the paper and ruin what ever work you were able to do. In addition to the punch being dull, the handle sticks and is sometimes very hard to pull apart so you can free the card. With arthritis or hand issues of any sort, this is not only frustrating but pretty painful. In other words, I wouldn't buy from this vendor again.

I was a little worried about the other reviews, but I still bought it, and it works perfectly! I thought it would be made out of plastic, but the main body is actually made out of metal.I guess the other reviewers got a broken unit.

The bottom white pice where the dots go in broke right off. The pieces don't come off the sharp pin & fall out very easily so I take a blunt needle & push them out
