These are really nice headbands. Soft, extra wide and comfortable. Bonus if your ears are bothered by wind you can easily and attractively pull the band over them. I unpicked the sewn closure loop that gathers one side of the band and replaced it with a small strip of double side velcro for the loop. It basically does the same thing, but now I have the option of removing the loop and having a buff that is wide completely around for extra windy days or pull down around my neck etc.

My sisters and I spent many, many years in hot tropical areas in the years where everyone slathered baby oil on themselves to get a great tan...or burn. Point is, we spent too many years in the sun with no sun protection and we are all paying the price now with multiple basal cell carcinomas all over our bodies. One sister and I had major surgery done on our noses; mine wasn't noticeable but my poor sister's nose ended up quite disfigured. My other sister had what appeared to be a tiny red mark just above her forehead but they ended up taking out a huge circular piece of her scalp and of course the hair won't grow back on those areas. She was really self conscious about going out in public as is and initially bought a few wigs but didn't always have the time to wash and style them so I searched for an alternative and found these bands. They absolutely did the trick in covering the spot but they look fabulous on her too. There are several options to choose depending on the color of one's outfit and they make her look well put together and stylish. I'm absolutely thrilled about how they look on her but more importantly, she absolutely loves them and doesn't go out without wearing one. Whether or not you are trying to cover up a problem area or not, they are all around great hairbands. Well worth the money. Would definitely recommend to others!
