Just an initial review of these ear cushions that I received today. Struggled for 15-20 minutes to fit them to my HD280 Pro headphones, but now that they're on, they look and feel great. I can't tell whether they sound any different to the original ear cushions because I've not used the headphones for a very long time, due to the old cushions being in such a poor state, the leatherette covering was flaking off and the foam was disintegrating.So, for £14 these appear to be a bargain. Only time will tell as to how durable they are but compared to the extortionate prices that Sennheiser charge for their ear cushions, even if these only last a year, that's really good value.

Highly recommend these earpad replacements for the Sennheiser HD280Pro headphones. They're much nicer than the one's that came with the headphones, which ended up disintegrating, but were always too warm on my ears anyway. The fact you can add drops of water to the pads to enhance the cooling effect is amazing.Fitting is a bit fidly, but with a bit of patience they stay on fine and I suspect will last a lot longer than the faux leather Sennheisers ones.

Great replacement for worn original pads.

Quite a struggle to fit ! (on HD280)Once on they seem to work and are quite comfortable, but surely they could be designed to go on more easil. To be fair though, at least part of the problem is that Sennheiser have not designed the HD280 to easily take replacement pads - even their own originals would have been hard to get back on after they were removed.Also worth noting that the original Sennheiser pads were starting to break up after just 4-5 years, which is very unimpressive at the price.

Fit is good, could seem difficult to fit but persistence is the key! Start at one end and work around, don’t be too afraid of pulling the pad to get it to go over the other end of the earpiece. Just keep holding onto what you have already managed to get fitted! Took about eight minutes in all.

Easy to put on, although I didn't think it would be. Stretch the rim a bit thread it in and pull it around the circumference. The cooling aspect only feels cool for the first minute you put them on.

These are brilliant. The water cooling thing is gimmicky and b££@&s tbh but these are better than the original seinheiser ones.Patience and determination is required but well worth it.
