Great product for the price, not a 40 degree bag IMO
This is a great sleeping bag as long as the temps are above 50 unless you sleep in long johns I guess.First night we used these temps got down to 42 and while sleeping on an air mattress (shorts and t-shirt) it got a little cold and I'm a warm easy to sweat kind of person although I can say this sleeping bag does sleep very well in the heat. The sleeping bags dont make you sweat (which is a bonus), they are long and zip well together to make a larger bag for (2) to sleep in.Zippers pull well (inside and out), fabric is soft inside like a thin fleece material, insulation stays in place well even with several uses so far. This sleeping bag doesnt come with a carry bag but the straps tie well.Overall a great product for a great price if you do late spring - fall camping.

adjust accordingly....
I tested this bag out indoors, before trip, and the first thing we noticed were how the zippers snag easily & the fabric feels very low quality. On the plus side, they felt warm, and the dog absolutely loved them as they have a lot of cushion. If I were a more frequent camper I would have purchased a sturdier sleeping bag, but I'm not....Update:Since I last posted my original review I have become a regular camper. I have used them on several road-trips throughout various temperatures, soil, and campground situations(i.e. humid, hot, cold, rainy, gravel campgrounds, hard dry soil, damp soil, sandy soil, throughout the south, at national parks, and at the beach) and I find that these sleeping bags do not have excellent padding, nor do they keep you warm (unless you are wearing wool socks, fleece, and layers). if it's hot--then the fabric clings to you, in damp environment these sleeping bags absorb the humidity and feel moist. This is a situation of, "you get what you paid for". I don't like to waste-so now I bring either flannel/linen sheets to place on top of sleeping bags to compensate. My suggestion, is if you can afford to spend a bit more money, and want to buy something that lasts-keep searching for a better product. If you do not have a larger budget, then buy these, but be prepared to adjust your choice of sleepwear based on all of the above situations and stay away from humidity.

Not as practical as it could be...
This is a good, cheap little starter sleeping bag, but if you plan to use it more than a few times a year, I'd say invest in a better one.The good:-it's lightweight-it keeps you warmThe not so good:-it is not suitable for very cold weatherThe really bad:-it doesn't have a cover-it doesn't have a hook for attaching it to your backpack - that would earn another star! So far any sleepingbag I owned came with a cover and attached or attachable clips... Not this one. I will use it as a secondary and get a more practical one to use mainly.

Good basic sleeping bag
Good basic sleeping bag. Good for sleep overs and the like. Will not satisfy a hard core camper, but that is not who this bag is designed for.Took off a star because would have been nice to have a carrying bag for it. The bag does come with bands you place to keep it rolled up but a bag would have been better.Value priced and good for the money.

It is a good value.
What is good: Soft. Warm. Comfy. Good value. What I would like to see improved: Does not fold up to be very small. Took up 1/3 of my pack. I got too hot and sweaty in it. So I unzipped and unfolded it and slept on top and just pulled over where I was cold. But still got sweaty.I will continue to use it!

Works fabulously for the price!
For such an inexpensive sleeping bag, this works great. It slides around a bit as you sleep, so I've ended up laying on the zipper a few times. The bag's a bit chilly when you first get into it, but warms up quickly once you're in it. It keeps you warm through the night (I've only used it indoors and in warm weather camping, so I've not evaluated it in cold weather yet).

Great Summer Sleeping Bag
This is the first summer sleeping bag I've purchased and I'm very happy with it. It is durable, washable, and kept me very warm while camping out at the lake this summer. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with a storage bag, only two attached ties that in my opinion don't do a great job; but if you have an extra storage bag laying around, this is a great purchase!

Just got in
Just got in two of these. Upon initial inspection i can't believe how well made these are and how thick and comfortable they are!! I did not intend on keeping these for my husband and i but we spent so much on new camping equipment that we'd get these then give em to the boys and get better one's for us but i'm going to order a few more of these..We camp a lot in Louisiana so we don't need something to think down here this is a four season bag but i'll tell you this competes with the comfort of my 0 to -20degree bag i paid 250 for in Ohio..will repost after trip next month.
