The string is fine. Also if you want to cut to size for example you want say the string 14 inches long take a 3/4 x 13 1/4 long.snout 4 or 5 inches wide. Tape the beginning on the 3/4 inch side. Start wrapping the board so every time you pass the tape side you’re going to be making 2 strings. I wrap 70 times plus or more. Tape both ends off good went you got enough. Tape sides also some. Take a sharp utility knife and cut center on both ends. You will have a 140 strings all cut. Don’t stretch them when wrapping. Your size string you want will be the length of the board plus 3/4 for end. Do a 140 strings in about 5 minutes. Be very careful of sharp knife. Don’t use dull knife. Do this at your own risk.
