Terro bait was a life saver! Highly recommended!!!
I rarely give reviews, but this is beyond worth it! For the past 2 years in the spring, I'd see an occasional ant here and there after it rained. They'd appear on the kitchen counter next to my sink that has a window next to it. Since it wasn't often, I'd spray a little insecticide, clean up, and didn't worry about it. I stopped seeing them after 2-3 weeks. BUT...this year was completely different! I started seeing about a dozen or so for multiple days in a row. They started going into my cabinets, kitchen drawers and some found their way to my bathroom. I realized at that point that there must be a hole or opening where a colony was coming in. So, I started caulking up some small cracks throughout my kitchen and bathroom. After caulking, I started saw seeing more appear, but since they were spread out, I couldn't locate their nest. I like to cook and this was an inconvenience to worry about anything crawling near or in my food.I couldn't take it anymore, so I decided to try the Terro Liquid Ant Bait. I set it up 2 days ago (Thurs. 5/15/25) and even poured out a drop or two of the liquid onto a piece of paper the trap was on to lure the ants. WOW, was I surprised at the results! Within 40 minutes of setting up the trap, there was a larger crowd of ants eating the bait & traveling back to their nest. I used a flashlight to observe & track their path on the floor. Turned out that the ants were going under the floor molding into a wall in my eat in kitchen area. Within 24 hours, there were far less of them coming to the bait...and as of today (Saturday 5/17/25), so far, there are NONE in sight! I am beyond happy & relieved that the colony got wiped out within 48 hours! But to be cautious, I expect to leave the bait in place for a few weeks just in case.I saw some reviews mentioned that the bait is sticky & sometimes hard to clean. Yes, that is true. I recommend placing the trap on top of a large piece of paper or on top of something flat that will catch the liquid so it doesn't touch your floor. That worked for me. Also, be sure to mix half vinegar/half water in a spray bottle & clean any surfaces or floors with it. For those who don't know, vinegar water will get rid of any ant residue & pheromones that they leave on surfaces for other ants to follow & find their way back to the nest. I HIGHLY recommend these TERRO Liquid Ant Baits...this was a life saver!!!

Beyond impressed!
I never know if reviews are real...especially when they are really long and keep mentioning the product name etc...but I took a chance on this ant bait based on so many of these good reviews. I first want to say that I actually find ants to be fascinating and they're such hard workers in aiming to maintain their colonies. My first choice is to not to kill these little guys and their complex social structured communities. However, natural deterrents from vinegar to peppermint to washing away their scent trails w dish soap etc...nothing worked. My apt was seriously overrun...on the low pile carpet in the living room, on the sink counter in the kitchen, a few in the bathroom and some in one of the bedrooms. I did my research and chose this bait. As my ant infestation was quite extreme, I opened about 6 of these little liquid packets and placed them where I saw high ant traffic. I would say...within *minutes*....the bait that was on the kitchen sink counter started attracting their attention. I have not been able to locate the entry spot for these ants, but they made trails across my kitchen floor, climbed up the lower cabinet and seemed to go to the first bait I put out. (I didn't even need to open the other 5 that I placed in other areas.) Bc that area was becoming so heavily trafficked and the ants were making a pilgrimage to that spot, I placed a 2nd open bait trap in that area and let the ants do their thing. As of this morning, having only placed the bait out last night - I have to admit I am completely shocked and surprised that I DID NOT SEE EVEN ONE ANT TODAY! This stuff is incredible at how fast it works! Completely unexpected! Well....I can assure you that this long review is real...and I'm writing it bc this product is the real deal. I DID not expect to see results so quickly. So despite feeling guilty that I had no choice in resorting to baiting (& killing ) the little ants (I think they're sugar ants), I am relieved that in just the overnight, my infestation seems to be over. So....I do highly recommend this ant bait if your goal is to quickly rid your home/apt of ants. I'm really impressed.👍UPDATE: Day 2 - I did see a notable handful of ants in 3 rooms today. Hoping they havent reached the bait yet and will soon disappear!
