There aren't many case options for the Alldocube iPlay 50 mini. I had tried a Galaxy Tab A8 (2020 version) case after seeing mention that it was a very similar footprint. It didn't fit. The iPlay is thicker and just a wee bit wider. An A8 case might fit if it didn't have a snap-in method of securing the case to the tablet, but this one did and I couldn't get the iPlay to snap in. So... I tried this one by AKNICI. It is a perfect fit. It is pretty thin, so there are limits on how much protection this is going to offer, but for me I just wanted to shelter it a bit from being bounced around in my backpack and it will do that very well. What I REALLY wanted a case for though was to prop up the tablet for movie watching when traveling. This doesn't have fixed grooves where the tablet has to sit into. It actually works via friction. The case itself is more of a grooved "plasticy" material (has a nice feel) and the material that wraps the tablet itself (kind of a really stiff silicone... maybe plastic that is coated with silicone) is tacky enough that it stays in place very well regardless of the angle you choose to prop it up at (within reason, of course). I just got it, so it is not battle tested yest, but I think it will hold up to mild turbulence on a jet. All of the holes in the case line up perfect for the camera, buttons, speaker, and headphone jack. As you can see in the pictures I'm attaching, it steels only a very very thin amount of "glass" real estate on the front of the tablet for the snap-in portion of the case. The actual display portion of the screen is still quite a ways away from the edge, so zero pixels are obstructed when the case is attached. I like it!!

Excellent case! Fits the tablet perfectly. Easily adjustable for a good range of viewing angles. Doesn't cover the buttons of my tablet either, so they're easily accessible.

It fits the tablet pretty well. The material looks like cloth but it's just PU plastic. It feels nothing like cloth. But it still feels fine in the hand. It's really stiff when you first get it but it loosens up after you use it. Unlike the official case for the IPlay 50 mini pro this one actually stays closed instead of flopping up.

I have used it for a few months now with no issues. This is the best case I have found. Unfortunately there are few options. I did try the Alldocube case that had just the cover flap and case. The issue with it, it did not have the buttons cut out so they were stiff to press. I returned it. Overall I am satisfied with this case and its quality.

A very nice looking case, good build especially for the price. HOWEVER: all the access ports are not aligned. USB-C plug will not fit all the way in, no access to the audio port.

The case does the job however you can’t use wired headphones and stand-mode at the same time. Also, when in standing mode, it is slightly slippery causing the screen to flop down at times.

It fit my iplay 50 mini pro well and had rigid edge to make accessing control buttons fairly easy

Way nicer than the other case I tried. this fits well and stand nice.
