This review is based off installation and a week of use. Mattress pad was easy to install, quite soft and the electronics attached easily. The control buttons are large and easy to use as long as you do not click the wrong button to change between time and heat, a dexterity issue which I state is a user issue. *yes, it happened that we set it for heat level 3 for 5 hours and got it backwards; toasty. Low heat works great, for 2 hours and the bed was comfortable enough to stay warm while falling asleep. The higher temp settings work but I wont ever use it past 5 unless I opened the windows to let the winter in. Mattress pad fits great, the deep pockets are amazing and I cannot see it pulling away from the mattress at all. It looks/appears easy enough to clean, after removing the electronics, and could not be happier. I have ordered another and I do recommend it for others.

i tried so many heated mattress pads,,i can't sleep without one,, i must say this Serta is by far the best one ever,, warms up fast, those cold winter nites, you'll be glad you have this one, slip into a warm bed, controlls are easy, spend the xtra money so worth it,, my grandma always told me "you get what you pay for'' she was right,, material is soft and you do not feel the wires at all, washable, SERTA a name you can trust,,,enjoy

Excellent mattress pad, warm and comfortable.

I almost love this heated mattress pad. It does everything you want a heated mattress pad to do. It fits well, heats very well and is comfortable to sleep on. It heats up quickly and creates a well modulated heat. Although it seems like it should be uncomfortable, because the heating elements are clearly noticeable, I don't notice them at all. My only complaint is the controller. While being able to set it to turn off after a given amount of time is nice, it lacks two things. 1) The controller has four buttons, but does not have a light. That means fumbling around in a dark room to adjust or turn it off. Plus, remembering which button does what while in the dark and sleepy is not easy. Having the buttons subtlety backlit would be an improvement. 2) The controller is really big. That means it takes up a lot of valuable space on the night table.

I have been using this for several months now and it works great. It's easy to use and keeps me warm all night.

This was a buy for my wife for Christmas. She always complains she is cold and used a heating pad at night to warm the bed. Well this works great makes the whole bed nice and warm. Seems to be heavy material that will last for a long time. Was a great purchase and value for what I needed. This also has a timer to be able to adjust the time it runs. The control makes a slight click noise when selecting but not loud enough to worry about it.

Great quality. fits the Twin XL mattress perfectly and the light on the face of it turns itself off a few seconds after turning it on or changing the setting and doesn't light up the entire room while you are trying to sleep. And also it gets TOASTY warm! The deep pockets help it stay on our mattress and extra 2" memory foam topper.

I have bought several brands over the last 20 years, but this one is different. The heat feels different. It’s a full body experience. I can’t explain how it felt when I climbed into bed. It was cushy, warm and comforting. It wasn’t too hot. It was so comfortable. I have fibromyalgia and this is a necessity for me. Too hot I hurt. Too cold I hurt. That didn’t happen with this. My feet were warm. My back was warm. I only have one complaint. I can’t use a timer on this. So I have to remember to turn it on. But I will adjust. The comfort far out weighs that minimal issue. And it was not the most expensive one so it was a good buy.
