Takes the Christmas tree to the next level!
A few years ago, I started adding tinsel to my Christmas tree and what a difference that makes! With a ceiling fan going on low, it makes the tree sparkle and seem alive! Everyone who sees it comments on what a difference it makes to the beauty and effect of the tree! This tinsel is durable too! I collect what I can when I take the tree down to save it for the next year. I have to buy a new box every few years, but it's worth it!

Must have for those my age looking for the old days
I was doing a throw back christmas to the ones when i was a kid. Red lights & real tinsel. I looked at the local stores & much to my surprise nobody had this $1.50 box of tinsel. But i found it on amazon for $11 which is an unbelievable outrage. I thought about it for a wk & ended up closing my eyes & hit the purchase button. It set the tree off so nicely in a way that garland never would. I boxed up the tree with it still on it. Too expensive to throw away.

Magical
This tinsel is very thin and fine. It sparkles with every little airflow. Made our tree even more magical.

I Bought Tinsel, Not a Lifestyle
I’ll start with the positive: it looks beautiful. Exactly what I needed to recreate the Griswold living room tree of my dreams. Shiny. Festive. Chef’s kiss. Now for the negative… when it hits the carpet, it disappears. Not “hard to see” disappears. I mean full-on Christmas camouflage. It absorbs the color of your carpet and becomes a festive little chameleon. How do I know this? I’m glad you asked. I have a toddler. She wanted to help. I said no. She stood silently watching as I tried to open the packaging — the way tiny supervisors do. The second I tore it open, the tinsel leapt out like one of those prank boxes that explodes confetti everywhere. Just POOF — instant holiday chaos. My toddler? Thrilled. Absolutely delighted. She scooped up a handful and threw it into the air yelling, “Mommy, it’s sparkly!” with the kind of joy only Christmas and small humans can produce. Now add one more ingredient: static. Friends, when static meets fine silver strings, the tinsel doesn’t fall. It attacks. It sticks to the couch. The dogs. My clothes. My soul. It is everywhere. I am currently trying to decide which hairs on my head are turning gray and which ones are just rogue strands of festive debris clinging on for dear life. So… would I buy it again? Absolutely. It’s gorgeous. It’s magical. It transforms your tree into a holiday masterpiece. I would just make different choices about how I open the package and who is allowed in the room when I do. If you enjoy sparkle, chaos, and playing “find the tinsel” for the next three weeks — this product is for you.

So bright!
I bought this and then afterwards found some cheap tinsel at the dollar store. I debated returning this Brite Star variety because the price was so much higher - but I'm glad I didn't! It is SO much more vibrant and almost prismatic in comparison to the flatter silver that you can get for a dollar or two offbrand. It makes my tree shimmer and shine and gives it that vintage nostalgia feel! The length is perfect. My only complaint is some of the strands weren't totally loose/cut a part, but really it didn't cause any issues. I'll buy this again in the future!

Expensive but nostalgic
Way too expensive but where are you going to find this.

Quality control
Out of the 1000 strands, about 200 of them were not fully cut and could not be separated.

Shiny, sparkly and they took my back to the 70's where I belong

False Advertising. DO NOT BUY. If you want the vintage 70s style tinsel that was made of lead- DO NOT BUY. This appears to be the cheap lametta you can buy at the $2 shop, very garish, nothing like the vintage ones that look nice and sparkly. The company should indicate that their tinsel is not the exact type that was sold in the 70s.
