EART Electric Guitar DMX-9, 6 String Tremolo Bridge, Humbucker Pickups, Solid Body, 5-Way Switch Guitars (Gloss Pearl Blue)

Read many reviews and watched a lot of video reviews on EART Guitars... was still skeptical but found this guitar on a great sale, decided to give it a try. after 50+ years of playing I had never played a roasted neck. I had only played stainless steel frets one other time, so was curious. I was pleasantly surprised how well this guitar was built. The roasted maple neck is beautiful, stainless steel frets are amazing. The neck joint is tight. The pickups even sound good!... didn't expect that. Tuners are solid but I am going to put locking tuners on it. It wasn't shielded so I did shield it. It plays wonderful, stays in tune real well. IT is a very nice looking guitar too. The only issue I've had so far is the middle single coil pickup mounting screw hole stripped out, didn't think it was worth docking a whole star so left it a 5 star rating. For the price I was expecting a lot less guitar. Luckily it was way more guitar than I thought I would get. I really like this guitar. Don't know if they are all this quality or if I just got lucky but I would look a EART Guitars again.

This guitar punches way above its weight class. I was looking at the AZ line from Ibanez, not wanting to spend that much cash for a guitar, I began to look around the used market. Then I stumbled upon the Eart DMX-9. This thing is insanely good. After watching a couple of YouTube videos, I went ahead with the purchase. The playability is outstanding, I have a couple of LPs, an Artcore ASF75DT hollow body and a KLOS Hybrid acoustic. This guy is easier to play than my Artcore, feels smooth sliding up and down the neck, and value is amazing. If you’re on the fense, I say jump on in, you won’t regret it.

Good looking and feeling guitar. But there was buzzing and rattling coming from the bridge. Did not want to spend additional $$ and work on this guitar so I returned it.

Out of the Box at first, the Guitar did not play well. I live in Florida and after I let the Guitar get Used to Climate here, 2 days later, with no adjustments, the Guitar Plays and Sounds Amazing. I bought a Donner guitar and had the same issue. After about 2 days of getting Used to the FL climate, the guitar improved. The guitar does not sound like a Strat. It has a much Richer tone. The Bridge pick up sounds closer to a Seymour Duncan JB than it does a Fender Pickup. The Mahogany Body provides a Deep Full tone that a Strat just doesn't offer. The Gold Paint Job looks Much better in person than the picture. The Neck is Shaped like a Strat, very smooth, and Fun to play!

Don't be misled by paid YouTubers, it is not as good as an American or even Mexican Strat. But it works very well, it feels and plays great. It slots in performance-wise between the Squier Classic Vibe and the Fender Player series, exactly as the price would suggest. The only real mod that it begs for is shielding the body cavities and the back of the pickguard. The pickups are very solid and quite usable.

Beautiful guitar ( metallic gold ). Bought it on sale for a little over $300, normally over $500, glad I pulled the trigger, fantastic feeling guitar, with the roasted maple neck, and rounded stainless steel frets, no finish flaws. Branded tuners. Get one for the lower price, it’s well worth either price. Definitely worth it. After a quick tune, it was even intonated. It has a two way switch (along with the usual five way switch) that switches from series to parallel. Metal volume and tone knobs. Bone nut. Unbeatable value for the features you get.

When I first got this guitar it seemed perfect. Now a week after getting it and the electronics are broken. I can barely get a sound when plugged in. I’m going to have to either take it to a luthier and spend more money or return it.

Comprata usata a 306€ mi è arrivata un giorno prima del previsto. Inballaggio impeccabile, accessori utili e istruzioni. La chitarra era venduta usata con un graffio sul davanti e una botta da qualche parte, a me è arrivata perfetta, finiture precise e ben fatte. L'unico difetto è che il pot dei toni non funziona, ma si mette a posto in fretta. Il body è pesantino, ma non troppo, il manico è fantastico, un vero piacere da suonare. I pickups suonano molto bene, non me lo aspettavo. Essendo usata mi è arrivata con delle corde 10-48 e accordata mezzo tono sotto, ma il setup era buono a parte le corde E basso e A che ho dovuto alzare le sellette del ponte. Tutto sommato.... Meravigliosa! Ma cosa si trova di così bello e ben fatto a questi prezzi?? Consigliatissima, sembra di suonare una chitarra da 2000€

J’ai d’abord acheté une telecaster eart, puis convaincu par le manche ( moins par les micros ) , j’ai décidé d’acheter cette eart dmx-9… manche extraordinaire, micros en feu , le switch permet de mettre les micros en série et donne donc 4 sonorités de plus . C’est décidé , je revends ma fender player !

La guitarra viene muy bien embalada. El color es mas bonito que en la foto, ya que en realidad es un azul metalizado muy chulo. Viene muy bien ajustada, aunque yo por mi gusto personal le hice varios ajustes. Sonido sorprendentemente bueno.

Es una guitarra increible, el mástil es muy bueno, facil de tocar, cuerdas super bajas. Las pastilla bastante buenas, sonido stratocaster muy conseguido pero la guitarra es mejor que cualquier stratocaster por el precio de la EART de 500 euros. El color varía bastante de las fotos, en mi caso gold es más sobre el amarillo.
