Love it, especially the Display settings
Teclast tablet 45 HDThe tablet came charged to 94% and it included a power block and A to C charging cable. How cool is that? Setup was quick and intuitive. There is no bloatware to deal with. How refreshing!I chose not to copy content and settings directly from my Android phone but that option is available.I manually set up accounts and installed apps from Play store. App download and installation time on this tablet beats the speed of my s21 Plus Android phone. I didn't run into any head scratchers while trying to figure out anything about setting up the tablet. Everything was very logical. I was finished in no time. The tablet responds quickly, consistently and crisply to touch input. The amount of ram, processor speed and storage capacity are much better than any of the tablets I've owned and it makes a tremendous difference. (I've only owned lower end tablets that run under $160). The smoothness and elegance of design and operation on this tablet is much closer to that of my phone than it is to other tablets that I've owned. My number one use for this tablet is watching hockey. With the adaptive brightness setting in the Display settings turned OFF and the contrast set to INCREASED, I manually set the brightness to about 60-70% and I get a clear, crisp,well-balanced picture for hockey with excellent contrast between the players and the ice. (On some devices the picture can't be adequately adjusted and the ice is much brighter than it is in real life. Over time my eyes get tired from the brightness as well as trying to distinguish between players with the light jerseys and the ice). On this Teclast, with settings describe above, ice brightness is muted while the moving players and puck are in sharp, stark contrast to the ice.In addition to the excellent picture, the Teclast has enough juice so that I never experience any movement blur as players race up and down the ice.As for the picture while watching movie/TV video, the picture is very adequate with the adaptive brightness feature turned ON. (Note that the default setting of the adaptive brightness feature on the tablet is OFF.) I leave the contrast on automatic (which is the default) and I change the color from standard to warm. This is a big improvement over the picture that you get with the default settings. All of these settings are easy to locate in the Display section of the tablet's settings.I really never imagined that I would get this quality in a tablet for about $110. I highly recommend it.

TECLAST Tablet 10.4 inch Android 13
The unit from Teclast is a great buy. From what I was able to conclude this company makes incredible products. My experience with the unit was good and quality is also great. The only thing I had a problem with was my carrier did not support the 4G LTE aspect of operation. (reason for return)I have a Teclast unit that was purchased in 2021 and still performs perfectly. I will say that the specs, speed and display are very good above average also the battery lasts forever. I spoke with the seller about the issue of 4G Bandwidth and he explained why the bandwidths chosen for the units are.If you want to use the unit for just WiFi or your carrier operates on the listed bandwidths I couldn't recommend a better brand. The display is outstanding and very easy to set-up and sound is also great.I would recommend the company to anyone.

I really wanted to love this and give it 5 stars
Its fast, its bright, it makes and receives cellular calls. It fails at sending text messages over any carrier I use....Nor did it allow me to receive any mobile data to surf the web.I literally did everything I could think of and some I did not think of.Days or research and attempts and no luck.Would recognize my carrier and use it only to make cellular phone calls onlyI finally gave up one day at work trying to get it to send a text message SMSand folded the damn thing in half and tossed it into a busy street after retrieving my sim card and sd card. This is a great tablet if and a big if....YOU ARE NOT I REPEAT NOT! TRYING TO SEND TEXT MESSAGES OR GET MOBILE DATA TO SURF THE WEB.phone calls? clear as a name brand cellphone.image quality? impressiveresponsiveness? fastest tablet I have purchased so farBut failed miserably for the task it was advertised could doAnd the one thing I needed it to do and that was so I did not have to carry a cell phone and a tablet using my cell as a hotspot for the tablet.I have purchased two other 2 in 1 tablets off amazon that did perform the task I purchased it for.I picked this one after wanting to get away from android 11 and it's lack of customization features in the os....I would give it 0 out of 5 stars but that is not fair so 4/5 and that is generous.Convenience is why I chose this and it was anything but that.Surfing the web, sending sms messages and writing reviews for Vine was just not gonna happenon the go for me.

Compared to Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite 2022
I purchased this tablet and a Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite. The Samsung was $100 more. Currently deciding which one to keep but I am leaning toward this one for the following reasons:Samsung Pros: Slightly better colors on screen, deeper and more contrast. About 30% faster, better speakers, better build quality, can update to Android 14 and possibly Android 15.Samsung Cons: Only 4BG memory, lower resolution cameras, slightly smaller, lots of useless bloatware installed, Samsung Dex a plus but can only be used on the tablet which defeats the purpose at it is too small for a desktop interface. Lots of options including S Pen I would hardly ever use.Teclast Pros: $100 cheaper, 8GB memory, high resolution cameras, slightly larger, pure Android 13 and no additional bloatware. There is an FM radio which is great for local sports games not available on internet radio. Purchased for email, video content, and learning Android. I would not be afraid to root it if necessary.Teclast Cons: I understand Teclast does not do major upgrades which means I am stuck on Android 13. I read bad reviews on older Teclast tablets but I have been testing everything and so far all is great. It may not last as long as the Samsung.I am trying to find a reason not to like it but for the money it is really good!
