Very well made
I've used Fleor pickups in a number of guitars, mostly their hotrails mini humbuckers, and they sound nice and fat and work well with Blackstar (HT40 MkII), Marshall (JCM2000 DSL 50 watt head and 1960A 4x12 stereo cabinet) and Boogie (F50 and Triple Rectifier 150 watt half stack) tube amps, and through an Orange CR130, so that pretty much covers the amps we use on a regular basis, and we have line 6 and fender amps that I haven't tried them on. This particular set fell upon misfortune when a stripped mounting screw couldn't be removed and lost one of it's dog ears to the battle. Fortunately, I also wind some of my own pickups and have back plates in stock and was able to very easily remove the coils from the damaged backplate and transfer them to the new one, upgrading it to a larger AlNiCo 5 magnet bar in the process. It's still metering at 7.91k Ohms, and with a higher grade and stronger magnet bar, it should have more of a punchy, classic tone. Fleor are a good value for the money and I can't wait to hear this one. Also waiting for a set of their AlNiCo 5 PAF style humbuckers with the single wire conductor Gavitt wire for a Flying V project that should be interesting.

Great Pickups
I have been searching for years for a humbucker that sounds as good as my Gibson '57 Classic Plus and this is it. Also sounds really similar to my Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pickup. Apparently, I must like the Alnico II sound, because all my favorite humbuckers use that type of magnet. I purchased two humbuckers to install in one of my strats in an HH configuration. I was so pleased with the bridge humbucker that I bought another bridge humbucker to install in an HSS configured strat. These pickups are more than worth the money. I highly recommend these pickups.

Excellent Alnico 2 Sound - Updated: WOW!
These pickups are made by Artec of Korea, the world's largest manufacturer of guitar pickups. If you have played a medium to low-priced guitar made by anyone, even the 'big three', chances are you have used Artec pickups. These Alinco 2 pickups are warm, smooth, and focused, perfect for jazz, blues, pop, soft rock, etc. They can be overdriven into hard rock/metal range and will perform well. But like any quality Alnico 2 pickup, they shine when played au naturel. Update: Recently sat down with a professional guitarist. She had a new Gibson Les Paul Custom 50s with a Burstbucker 1 Alnico 2 in the neck and a Burstbucker 2 Alnico 2 in the bridge position, as it came from Gibson. In a side-by-side comparison with the Gibson Les Paul and the Les Paul partscaster I built utilizing these pickups, it was a dead heat. The Fleor pickups matched the Gibsons in tone, depth, warmth, strength, output, and every other comparison, clean and dirty. I was amazed. I knew these were outstanding pickups, but wow. But the big surprise came when she said she would have no problem taking my partscaster into the studio. The Fleors sounded that good.

Good budget humbucker for a cheap T-style guitar
I put this in the bridge position of a super-cheap Tele knock-off with a p90 in the neck. I think it gives me a nice, twangy quack in that guitar, close to what I'd expect from a good Tele bridge pickup, and it blends nicely with the p90 in the middle position. There's no provided wiring diagram, so I had to do some researching and guessing about which of the five wires went where. In my first wiring attempt, it was out of phase with the neck pickup. I do wish it had more complexity in the low-mids, maybe a bit warmer (I used a .022 cap on it--might do a higher value if I ever open it up again). Overall, I'm satisfied with the sound and quality for the price paid.

Shockingly Valuable
I put these into a chibson les paul that I've had for years to try and get a budget Slash APH-1/2 sound. These don't sound as good as the much much more expensive seymour duncans, but they sound SERIOUSLY better than the stock ceramic pickups that came in the guitar. They have a ton of personality and a very clear and singsongy sound. They get nice and crunchy and have a really dynamic sound that I didn't feel like the stock pickups did. I will definitely remember Fleor in the future when I go pickup shopping.

FLEOR Alnico 2 Humbucker Pickup - You get what you pay for...
I got these pickups for a budget build based on other reviews. They sound OK, and worth the price, but they came shipped loose in a bag and were missing a set of mounting screws and springs. The shipping bag oddly contained the empty, but not ripped, original packing bag that the pickups would have come in. They didn't look used and I had another set of screws and springs (needed to re-tap the holes), but it was not a big deal. Overall, just OK.

Better than my PRS 85/15S pickups
Can't beat the price, and for my tastes in sound, these were a nice improvement over the 85/15S that came in my PRS SE CE 24. Set up the coil split without resistors, which is something I might change as you do get a bit of reduced volume when you switch, but they sound nice in single coil mode. I play mostly fairly clean setting, and just on the edge of gain driven distortion, For how I play they sound great.

Fleor Zebra Alnico bucker
Wasn’t sure when I bought this what it was gonna sound like. But I must admit ,as cheap as this pick up is it sounds extremely good . It has a very balanced output all the way from the lows to the highs . It has a nice rich response to it not blubbery , not squealy.. Sounds just as at home Reproducing Journey as it does Metallica... Most importantly it doesn’t have so much frequency response that it changes the sound of the guitar. In other words this will sound very good in a Les Paul style guitar without having a muddy bottom end ,and also sounds good in a Stratocaster style guitar without having too thin of a bottom end... I’m using 250 K pots. Which might be smoothing the tone out a little, but as I said the top end is still very smooth and linear..

I'm a guitar tech with 30 years experience and I can't believe i'm saying this but... Sorry Gibson... These sound as good as Burstbuckers!!! For 1/10th the price! Wanna waste your money 400$ pickups... go right ahead...! Installed these in a Fesley FLP350... The value in this is unbelievable!!
