Fantastic, excellent fit for my XJ , replaced broken original shroud and worked great.

So my original shroud had broken near one of the mounting holes when I did my previous radiator change. I did a somewhat sketchy repair but it held up for the last 17 years. Fast forward to last week, and it was time to replace the radiator again. Having decided to refresh the rest of the cooling system, I bough this shroud to replace my cracked/repaired one. Honestly, I didn't know how well if would fit or how flimsy it would be. Well, I'm pleasantly surprised. It feels study and fit just like the OEM one. The two tabs (mentioned by another reviewer) slipped into the slot in the lower support and the mounting tabs up top aligned with the upper support mounting holes. Plenty of clearance for the fan. So the price is great as well as the fitment.

Fits as it should, easy installing and looks like factory. Item was delivered and sat in our garage for over month before it was installed, but noticed a crack near the drivers side mount. I can’t say that it arrived this way or was damaged when my son installed it, but took away 1 star for durability.

2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ fan shroud fits perfectly. Heavy plastic same quality as original Mopar. But substantially less expensive and arrived on time. Recommend purchasing.

This project I purchased has a serious defect. The two plastic stems that are supposed be inserted to the bottom frame under the fan, keeps lifting out of place when I attempt to drive my 1999 Jeep Cherokee 4.0Lt. The top part of the shroud has the correct connection for it is supposed to be screwed above the fan, but below the shroud is a defect and does not stay down. This can cause an accident when I start to drive the fan starts to bump into the frame of the shroud. Unfortunately, my vehicle has had to stay parked this whole year since I bought the shroud in October. I wish the owner for the seller could do something better for me the customer to rectify this major problem in serious concern.
