Incredible travel and creator camera — exceeded expectations
I used the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 extensively on a Europe trip (including Scotland) and have continued using it regularly for my day-to-day YouTube channel, and it has been outstanding. The image quality is excellent, especially in mixed and low-light conditions, and the 3-axis gimbal stabilization is seriously impressive for such a small device. Walking shots, city footage, and handheld vlogging all come out smooth without any effort. The larger sensor and fast autofocus make a noticeable difference compared to previous generations. For travel, this camera was perfect—compact, quick to deploy, and discreet, yet capable of producing footage that easily matches much larger setups. Battery life was more than enough for full sightseeing days, and the built-in mic quality is surprisingly good for casual talking-head shots. For content creation, it’s become a go-to tool for B-roll, quick talking segments, and grab-and-go filming when pulling out a full camera rig isn’t practical. If you travel, vlog, or create content regularly and want high-quality stabilized video in a truly pocket-sized camera, the Osmo Pocket 3 is absolutely worth it.

My go to camera
This has replaced my DSLR and mirrorless cameras when taking quick trips and going to events. So much easier to pack minimal and still get stunning videos. This awesome camera and gear packs away in a small case to carry everything I need like ND filters, extra battery, DJI mini microphones and a monopod. The gimbal and image sensor will help you to create amazing videos. Dlog-M allows you to color grade in post production and take it to the next level although the 10-bit normal filming gives you amazing videos without doing extra work. It really has become my go to video camera.

In a class of it's own. Excellent for beginners or Pros
Pocket 3 is just in a class of it's own. This camera is a beast and is everything I hoped the 3 would be. It's really versatile and is handy for so many situations. Having a gimbal camera this small is just so handy. It's relatively low key and doesn't draw too much attention. While walking around It's easy to set and forget while recording thanks to the gimbal. The rotating screen is a much needed upgrade from the postage stamp size screen on the previous pockets. The screen also makes turning the pocket on and off super easy. If you're not in a situation that requires an action cam this is generally the best choice for an ultra portable handheld camera. Video quality is incredible, 4k 60 10bit is awesome, and it even does 120fps slow mo. The 1inch sensor does really well in low light and is even able to get some natural shallow depth of field, something an action cam won't ever give you. This is kinda the opposite of an action cam; it's got a really nice field of view that is a lot narrower than an action cam and has no fish eye at all, it's also really fragile and not waterproof. It's strengths are what tend to be an action cams weakness and vice versa. This thing is amazing for so many use cases. I don't vlog but it sure would be good at that, the camera can turn around and face you at the click of a button and will even get a little bit of boca behind you. It's great for travel, small and lightweight, you can get great video exploring and walking around and don't even have to pay much attention where you point it. The pocket 3 also works really well mounted on top of a mirrorless/DSLR, I used it to capture roving video while I focused on photography, But you could even use this on a video camera as an all in one "B Camera". This thing is just all around awesome and is an excellent addition to any video kit, beginner or pro.

Love this!
Hands down, the best Vlog camera on the market!! The sound quality is great straight out the camera. The battery life is is pretty decent and you can record while charging. Easy to connect to the DJI app. Zoom is amazing to get the look you need. And it’s very lightweight as well.

Love the DJI Osmo Pocket 3!
Quality is top notch, and easy to set up and use. Bought for my grandson. He has used it on the golf course, and to record friends. Very happy with the purchase.

Great features, improved a LOT since Pocket 2... BUT we can't use it
I ordered this camera to replace my DJI Osmo Pocket 2, which I've liked, but - oh my! - the Pocket 3 has SO many FAR better features for travel vlogging! Unfortunately, the Pocket 3 also stops working (after the 5th time you turn it on), if you don't "activate" it via an app on your phone. Well, I had mixed feelings about that, but - for such a great camera - I decided to take a chance on privacy issues, and activate the app anyway. BUT THEN... The app isn't on Google Play for a reason: When I researched the issue, it comes down to GDPR standards. Apparently, the DJI Mimo app - used to activate the camera - doesn't meet those standards. So, I could download the app to my Motorola phone, but the app wouldn't install. It was blocked by Motorola for safety and privacy reasons (per the pop-up window). Of course, the app wouldn't even download to my husband's Google Pixel phone. I'm stunned that a $500+ camera can't be used, fresh out of the box, without jumping through more hoops... some requiring me to buy another phone. But more than that, I'm terribly disappointed. I'd waited weeks to receive this camera. And, at first glance, this camera looks great, and has SO many wonderful features, I was delighted that I'd purchased it... until I realized I can't use it at all. This isn't a new issue. In forums, I see that DJI has known about this since 2023. I'm not sure why they won't comply with GDPR standards to solve this problem. Until they do, I'm sad and disappointed, and cannot recommend the camera at all. This might have been a five-star review. The camera looks great, and - until it quit working - everything about it impressed me. Instead, I can only give it one-star. I hope this is a warning to others to check if their phones accept (and will install) the DJI Mimo app, before buying this camera.

DJI Osmo Pocket 3, Vlogging Camera
Tiny Camera, Big Personality!!! The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is like carrying a pocket-sized film studio that’s always ready to clock in. For vlogging, it’s a serious upgrade from a phone. The 1-inch sensor pulls in light beautifully, so indoor clips don’t turn into grainy potato footage, and colors look rich without feeling overcooked. The 3-axis gimbal is the real show-stealer. Walking shots come out buttery smooth, almost floating, even when you’re moving at a decent pace. The rotating touchscreen is a clever touch. Flip it around and you’re instantly in selfie mode, ready to record. It feels intuitive and fast, which matters when you’re trying to capture something before the moment evaporates. Audio is solid too, especially paired with DJI’s wireless mic system. Voices come through clear and crisp, even outdoors. Battery life is respectable for its size, and fast charging helps keep it in the action. It’s incredibly portable, slipping into a pocket or small bag without a second thought. Why not 5 stars? A few things. Accessories can add up quickly, and you’ll likely want extras to really unlock its full potential. Also, while low-light performance is good for its size, it’s not magic. Night footage still needs decent lighting to shine. Overall, the Osmo Pocket 3 is a powerful little storytelling machine. For vloggers, travel creators, or anyone who wants stabilized, high-quality video without lugging around a full rig, it’s an impressive tool that punches well above its weight.
