MICROJIG MatchFit Dovetail Clamps, Woodworking Track System Tools, DVC-538K2, 2-Pack, Yellow/Green

These clamps worked great for use with the jig I made to true up one edge of a piece of wood using my table saw instead of a jointer. Simple routed in some dovetail slots on a piece of plywood for the clamps to slide into and good to go.

I bought these primarily for use with a table saw sled that acts as a jointer. But they have several other good applications. It was very easy to creat the slots with my router and the system has provided a lot of versatility. I can set these up to hold boards for a lot of different cuts. They are a little pricey, but if you can even purchase one pair you will have a great clamping system.

I made a jig for my table saw for doing tennons and I purchased these whole Don’s to hold the stock in position while I’m cutting the tennons. They work fine. They’re made very well and they’re just what the doctor ordered.

I actually use these clamps for lots of thing like clamping the track saw track to the table. They work well, good quality and good fit.

I really like the utility of this product - I've used these on multiple jigs in my shop. The specialty bit that you can buy from Micro-Jig to cut the dovetails for this clamp is also better than a standard dovetail for this purpose of use. I honestly think that they are overpriced, however, for what you get. In the end, it's just a screw clamp with one end forged to fit in a standard dovetail. There are a number of competitors entering the market that price them for a third of the cost, and those new entrants are of good enough quality to get the job done. I have several, and I use them interchangeably with the Micro-jig clamps. They are also compatible with the slots I cut with the Micro-jig dovetail bit, as well as those cut by any other standard dovetail bit.

It's exactly what I expected. The clamps hold very snug, the price for these clamps are good. Easy to lock wood into place. The design of these clamps work prefect in the dove tail slots. Once everything is straight or where you want to cut. The accuracy is amazing. If the was any advise to other folks out there, it would to get a good piece of birch wood plywood. Cut your dove tail just below half way. Better fit and clamping.

These work super... Made a jig (see 731 Woodworks) for my table saw to use as a joiner... WOW it worked great using these clamps.

These clamps are amazing, I have all sorts of clamps out there and I try to buy the best of the best. These clamps are by far my favourite. The possibilities of jigs you can build to fit these clamps are endless since you can route the dovetail slot yourself. Best of all, they are solid and have more holding power than you will ever need from a small clamp like this. These clamps will last a lifetime as I don’t see them ever failing at any particular point.
