Our uncured smoked ham hocks have a wonderful flavor and surely won’t disappoint. Our rare heritage hogs are born and raised on our family farm in California and spend their entire lives on pasture. They are fed a diet of pasture grasses and roots, with supplemental hay, a small amount of soy-free, corn-free, and GMO-free grain and whey. They also receive treats of eggs, fruits, nuts and vegetables raised here on the farm. We do not using farrowing crates. All our meats are produced without the use of added hormones, growth stimulants, or antibiotics. USDA-inspected & processed for health and safety. The Massa’s operate a multi-species farm with pigs, chickens, sheep, and cattle naturally on pasture using sustainable and regenerative farming practices. We are truly a family operation. Duane & Wendy personally take a hands-on role with every aspects of the business from animal husbandry, to customer-service, marketing & shipping. Through selective breeding and careful range management, we are uniquely creating a group of animals that have become a healthy and sustainable alternative to factory farm practices.
