I'm really not in to wearing things around my wrist, I don't even wear a watch anymore, but for this handy band when out and about hiking, I will make an exception.I have always wanted to have extra paracord neatly packed away, ready if I need it, from tieing things up, to using some strands for fishing and a single strand for tooth flossing, simply great. I wish these were around when I was in my deep jungle days. The fire starter is a fantastic addition and does make me feel at ease. The whole package is a well thought out design. Top marks.

Great item!Tried out the flint on my last bonfire in the backyard; both the flint and steel that came as a bonus item and the flint and steel attached to the bracelet produce sparks and work great.Sturdy item, quality compass, highly recommended.

Very cool product. I tried the fire starter and it is LEGIT! It sends off real sparks instantly. I put the bracelet in my day pack so I will have it with me anytime I am hiking, snow shoeing or at the beach. I didn't even realize that it has a built in whistle until it arrived. This is a great bonus feature.

Great little wristband. I tried out the fire starter on our burn pile for practice. Had that sucker blazing in a few minutes. The fire starter sure throws off a great spark to make it easy. "Naked and Afraid" here I come.
