This has a specialized application nozzle that makes it super easy to get a good spray right in the back of the throat. It doesn't taste bad at all - it's a very easy product to use. I really like the peace of mind it gives me. I also like that it's small enough to fit in my purse.

This iodine throat spray seems like a decent addition for some extra protection when you're around people who aren't feeling well. The main ingredient is povidone iodine, which has antiseptic properties, so the idea is it can help cleanse your mouth and throat area after potential exposure. I can't say for sure how effective it really is, but it provides a sensible extra layer when used along with other precautions. It's easy enough to use - you just spray it towards the back of your throat a few times. The taste isn't amazing, but it's tolerable. While the company makes some bold claims, at the end of the day this is essentially an iodine gargling solution in spray form. It's not a miracle cure, but it could be a handy thing to have in your medicine cabinet, especially for travel.

Using ImmuneMist Oral Cleanse Iodine spray according to the complete directions given on the bottle and its box was not nearly as bad as I expected. I also have no doubt that povidone iodine eliminates germs and bacteria. I’ve used it a few times and I did experience some benefit. The flavor is not great, but that's how iodine tastes. The misleading part is that a product description image claims that “It's Clean! Free of alcohol, fluoride, glycerin, sugars or sodium lauryl sulfate or anything objectionable!” Yet the list of ingredients on the package clearly states that it does indeed contain glycerin, sucralose, WS-23 (a synthetic menthol-like cooling agent, which sounds scary), and an ingredient simply called “Flavor.” That discrepancy tends to reduce my confidence in a product. For the amount in the bottle, this isn't a great value. Still, for the benefits of iodine, this can be good to have on hand.

I don’t feel like it made a difference at all if anything i feel like it made my throat worse after using it.

This stuff doesn't taste like dessert or anything, but it's not intended to be a treat, lol. In any case, I view the medicinal-ish taste as a sign that it does what it's supposed to. I've, thus far, only been using this a few times a week, preventatively, and I've been well, so it's hard to make a declarative statement that it has *cured* anything. I'm happy with the ingredients and their proven record of efficacy, so I'm assuming it's doing its job.
