Sheet metal nibbler I was a bit nervous that this nibbler sells for half the price of several almost identical products. I was concerned that the cutting blade might not be of as hard a steel as more expensive versions. I needn’t have worried. I ordered mine on 17th and it arrived midday 19th. It was heavy which is a good sign. It came in a high quality steel box. Inside everything looked robust except the plastic handle which was thin walled with a flimsy looking metal threaded insert which looked less robust than I would have expected. But it survived ok. The nibbler came with a spare blade guide. That seemed superfluous as I expect the blades will become blunt long before the guide wears out. The nibbler is fitted with a double ended cutting rod and a spare rod which provides two more cutting edges. They recommend using metal cutting fluid. I didn’t use any, perhaps I should have. I bought it to cut two 6 inch diameter holes at opposite ends of a metal box made from 1 mm thick mild steel sheet. It did this with no trouble and it was surprisingly quick. It didn’t seem to be losing sharpness or cutting speed after cutting those holes. There is a handy compass attachment to aid cutting round holes. You need a 19 mm spanner to fit it and an 8 mm spanner to fix the pivot in place. To locate the pivot I drilled a 4mm hole at the centre of where I wanted the hole. The nibbler has a hexagonal shaft to go into the electric drill chuck which ensures good grip without having to apply great force to the chuck key. I am very happy with it. It worked much better than I expected.

Didn't expect much from this but I was so wrong, it's fantastic and did a great job. Used it to cut both ends out of a oil drum which it did perfectly all on the same nib.

Bought to fit 2 round portholes , Had to use it freehand as I couldn’t work out how to use the circle cutting attachment 🤷‍♂️ It only fits on the fixed cutting head but at an angle ,,,,

Als Hobbyhandwerker hat mir das Tool beim Trapezbleche verlegen auf dem Dach sehr geholfen. Leichte und einfache Handhabung mit dem Akkuschrauber und dem Tool ist es auch für Laien geeignet. ABER vorsichtig, die Kanten der Schnittfläche sind scharfkantig 😉Ich habe mir eine Absaugvorrichtung angebaut, damit die Späne gleich eingesaugt werden. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Excellent rapport qualité prix. J'ai découpé plus de vingt mètres de tôle 1mm (bac acier) avec cet objet et une perceuse sans fil Ryobi, sans aucune difficulté. Le trait de coupe est assez large (environ 3mm). Par contre il faut prévoir un casque antibruit et ne pas travailler dans des circonstances qui seraient difficiles pour le voisinage car c'est très bruyant.

Solide handzaam stukje gereedschap, en het is leuk om ermee te werken. De knabbelaar gaat vlot en vrij door dunne metaalplaat. Hij werkt ook plezierig stil in mijn toepassing (= snijden vast zachte koperplaat met dikte 1,5 mm; ik heb de plaat stevig vastgeklemd tegen trillingen).
