Best Backpack ever
I love a good backpack. I’ve had many, from different brands. I’ve used the 5.11 COVRT 18 backpack for almost a decade. I’ve had a few in that time. They were my daily carry backpack because it had all the things I needed for on duty and off duty. It doesn’t scream tactical, but can fill those needs “Covertly”. Fast forward to the present and I’ve had the pleasure of finding out about the company Eberlestock. This bag is slightly larger than the COVRT 18. However, not so much that it is more than needed for daily carry backpack. It has plenty of pockets, a concealed carry channel and plenty of space for whatever else you may need. Best of all it fits the roll of a bag you could use tactically when you don’t want to tell everyone, hey I may be carrying a weapon, be a first responder, military, etc. But, best of all this backpack is premium, well built, I love the color choice, and the way it sits. You can adjust the ride height easily as well. I am definitely going to get the Eberlestock Bandit for Hiking.

Excellent bag
I love this bag. I purchased it and took it on a trip to NYC recently. I stored a bunch of my kids toys and a change of cloths… basically a man’s diaper bag. Everything fit just fine and it held up great. I do have a few criticisms and a few thoughts. First, it’s not the best bag for the task that I used it for. Sure it worked but it’s a heavier bag and would be better for outdoor use. I do a lot of range work so it’s excelled at that. The interior pockets are the perfect size for AR mags and you can fit a pistol AR or pistol scorpion or something like that with a folding stock with no problems. The padding for your back is excellent but everytime I took the bag off I had sweaty back. It’s a small gripe but still better venting would be nice. The bag has a certain shape/mold to it which helps you fit things in it but when you aren’t carrying much it doesn’t collapse. This was an issue at a point because I kept bumping people with it at stores I walked into. Again, wouldn’t be an issue for it’s intended purpose. The side pouches that are intended to be accessed by turning the bag to the side work very well so you do t have to take the whole bag off. I haven’t used the conceal carry slot on it but the pocket Intended for your pistol is big so a full size Glock or 1911 should be no issues. On a side note I have a gunslinger II and I’ve done long hauls with a 20lb rifle and a shotgun stowed on the side and the bag eats it up. This bag is the same way. It’s built extremely tough and is extremely durable. It’s best function would be a “go” bag if you know what I mean. On paper this bag is expensive but Enerlestock makes top tier stuff. The stitching is tight and the fabrics they use is thick and tough. If your looking for a camp bag or a range bag or something of that nature then this is a great option. If your looking for a book bag or a man bag then there are better options.

Absolute great purchase
I have been a Mystery Ranch fan for several years. Especially when I was in the military. Now, after using this bag even for a short period of time, I wish I would've purchased this bag or another product from Eberlestock years ago. I travel the world a lot and needed something comfortable to transport what I needed to. I also use it at work training canines. The breakdown of the bag gives sufficient space for what you need to pack without compromising comfort. The concealment area built into the bag allows me to be discreet while with my family. The side pouches allow for whatever last minute things you forget to pack or for when you need an item quickly. The bag just makes sense in all environments and for all reasons. A very strong and dependable bag for sure!

Best bag
I'm a tactical backpack whore. I've got so many packs now. Up until now my go to was my voodoo tactical pack, but it's a bit large for everyday use. So my new eberlestock pack is the perfect size. The ccw pouch is perfect and faithfully houses my sig at all times. I have room to put my large headphones, a hoodie, my lunch bag, a reusable shopping bag, my laptop, backpack body armor, my full sized water bottle, a few tools inside the big pouch with some room to spare. And I store personal items in the top, and haven't filled it up yet. All in a much smaller package. The zipper design is excellent as I can have the pulls toward my body in order to make it more difficult for someone to get into my bag while I'm wearing it. 10/10 would recommend this bag.

Worth every penny!
This back just survived 30 days being carried through a hot, dusty construction site 12+ hours a day. It didn't break, scratch, rip, etc. It held up to being thrown in and out of trucks, dragged up and down stairs, and so much more. It's probably not indestructible, but I haven't found a way to hurt it yet!

Great Bag
This bag has been with me in 5 states and 7 countries. I have had it for a little less than a year and it gets used for anything from travel to a school bag to a range bag to gym and camping. The zippers are great and overall build quality is top notch. It is not a lightweight bag so do not buy if you are doing ultralight work, this was only an issue when I was carrying it for 15+ mile days. It is not waterproof from Eberle but with spray it works well.

It's Eberlestock - it's awesome!
I own a Terminator, and now the Switchblade for EDC. Carry system is so much more comfortable than Mystery Ranch 2DAP... Only drawback I can find is that they don't sell the hip belt in MC separately :(

Favorite backpack to date
Eberlestock makes some awesome products. I already have their "Just One" pack for hunting, and wanted a nice bag for hiking, camping and for work (I work in an IT department/office setting). The Switchblade handles a 15" quite well. There are many organizational pockets, making it quite easy to get all your gear sorted in the bag. Being able to use a hydration bladder is a nice feature. The hidden pocket seems to work well and have plenty of space. I've tested it with up to a full size 1911, and it seems quite workable.I expext no less from Eberlestock, but this is an excellent backpack! If you're debating buying it v cause of the price, it's well worth it. Buy once, cry once. I'm hoping to use this for many years to come.
