Tastes like matcha! Great cost!
I am very pleased with this matcha. I’m on a hunt for a bag of 100g (3.5oz) powder for a good price. This is such, a, steal. AND it is ceremonial grade!? (I made a mistake of buying a culinary grade matcha from Mitsuwa market, and it smelled and tasted like grass) I thought I would be trying out other brands after this 2nd attempt, but I am confident to stick to this new one as I like the matcha flavor. It is smooth and does NOT taste like grass). Will continue to buy this! No need to hunt for another matcha brand.

Great Price, Good Flavor.
whatever you’re doing, please don’t stop! this matcha is so amazing! the color is nice and bright green! it tastes so good. when i’m mixing it up it has a beautiful froth. by itself it tastes super strong and bitter but when you add oat milk and a bit of agave syrup, it’s so so good. you cannot beat this flavor and price. i compared flavor to the $40 matcha and this matcha, and i really like teatree matcha 10x more. thank you for your business! i bought 3 more packs. that’s how good it is! i will keep buying for as long as this business is going 😊

Good value for the price
Color is good. Has little to no bitterness depending on what you’re making with it. I like to make matcha latte and don’t taste the bitterness. It’s giving a bit of floral taste and moderate astringency. I’m not a matcha expert but I do overall like this matcha for the price point.

great daily matcha
This matcha is quite good for the price! It tastes similar to some expensive matchas I’ve tried and works great as a daily matcha if you’re not trying to spend too much money. It has a nice green color to it and creates microfoam also!

Gross - Very Bitter
Uuuck, this matcha is extremely bitter. It does not taste like ceremonial grade at all. I have had culinary grade matcha that tasted better than this. I thought it was a good deal but is not as you can get culinary grade matcha that is less bitter for cheaper. It is so bitter and it almost has kind of like a chemical flavor as well.

The best deal I've found for quality ceremonial grade matcha
I've been drinking matcha green tea for the last 2.5 years since I discovered the many health benefits of it. I experimented with many different brands at several price points. I had settled on a brand called Matcha Sense because it offered a great flavor at a reasonable price. I'd buy two 3.5 oz pkgs at a time for around $60 and I've been doing that for the last 2 years. Most other "high quality" matcha is much more expensive than that. I decided to try to find a good tasting matcha that would hopefully be nearly as good as the Matcha Sense brand at a lower price point. I decided to give this Teatree Matcha brand a try based on the good reviews. Well I haven't been disappointed. This brand tastes identical to the Matcha Sense brand and has the exact same texture and dark green coloring. Except this brand becomes even more frothy when I whisk it in my matcha bowl (lower quality matcha usually won't become frothy at all or have very little). I drink mine over ice with no add-ons, with 1 tsp mixed in about 10 oz of water. The flavor is great IMO with no bitterness. So at half the price of Matcha Sense, I've found my new go-to for matcha.

Bitter aftertaste.
All I can say is this matcha has a bitter aftertaste. No one in my family liked it, so I’m stuck with it! I can only drink it with almond milk and adding cinnamon powder, otherwise the bitterness is enhanced. If matcha is supposed to taste this bad, it is over rated!
