Used this as a replacement for my 36 gal bow front. I use it for the cycle mode where it cycles through different lights and light intensities to mimic morning, mid day and evening (and turns off for night). Used for three weeks now without issues. Pros: Easy to install. Took off old light and then glued it to top via aquarium safe glue and suction cups. Once you follow instructions for set up of the node you want to use, it just works well. Several options for lights (single colors, bright light, different intensities and daytime/ night time cycles). Set and forget- no other timer needed. No remote. You use the „light switch“ to program it all. Great price for the light. Fish and snails seem to like it. Plants seem fine. Cons: Slightly shorter than advertised. You do need to actually read the short and easy to follow instructions for set up ;)

I am super impressed with this light :) The ability to change the lights brightness, colors & set it on a timer isn’t necessarily any better than other lights on the market but it works perfectly nonetheless! The brightness on this light is superb & better than any of the other aquarium lights I own. The remote is on the plug line so you won’t be able to change it from across the room but honestly I have one of those on my other tank & I only ever use it while right next to the tank so I’ve opted to not worry about that feature when purchasing lights like these. The suction cups are subpar but my lids have a slight curve so I’d assume that has a bit of an effect ** pro tip if using out of the water, put a bit of vaseline or aquaphor on them & they’ll stay on even a curved surface! ** I’ve got minibow tanks (two 5 gal, one 2.5 gal) & I despise the basic lights that come with the tank I mean they’re fine but don’t have any brightness adjustment or timers so I always swap it out for a suction on light. My 5 gallon is the newest tank for my koi betta, Pablo Picasso. I took the suction light off the temp 2.5 gal & put it on this one & honestly it was dreadful - see the pic where Pablo is on the left side of the tank that was the previous light on FULL brightness. I couldn’t even enjoy the beauty of Pablo’s koi colors & knew my plants were going to struggle. So I realized the replacement light I got for the 2.5 which is this light was crazy bright for that tank. I legit was keeping it at minimum brightness as it’s in my room & it was still blinding at night. I swapped the lights today & WOW what a difference!! The second pic where Pablo is on the right side of the tank is with this new light not even on 100% brightness. The difference is insane I can now watch my fishy better from across the room! I will be going with this light brand for any aquariums in the future!

It’s awesome. Love the 24/7 cycle. It’s a tad confusing to program but it took me like 5 minutes. Super bright too. A bit of a tight fit in my 20g high though.

Great item, works well although I haven't fully set up all the timing. Several colors and dims & brightens really good. Multiple settings for times. I would recommend this item for the value.

Excellent brightness and easy to program. Instructions for programming are fairly easy to understand. Build quality is excellent. Plenty of color and brightness options for the lighting. Long power chords make it easier to reach a plug without an extension. Great value for the price! Make the purchase, you won't regret it!

The light is very good but setting it up was very confusing

OMG!!! I read the instructions and watched the set up video. The guy that made the Video said HE had a Ph.D and he couldn't figure it out!! What a joke! Save your money unless you are an Ithiotologist and Electric Engineer. I'm not dumb, I just fixed 2 appliances in my house today so I decided to tackle this complex POS. The instructions are ridiculous, the control buttons are so small they are unreadable and and make NO SENSE!!! I didn't even get to a point where I wanted to determine if the little suction cups held. No. No. No. I just want the best for my Aquarium, not go back to University for another Degree in how to set this thing up. WTF were they thinking making this? AVOID AT ALL COSTS, YOUR COST. It's going right back. This company is nuts! Seriously, Mr. "I have a Ph.D Video Man" couldn't figure it out, I was over confident thinking I could. Ridiculous!!!! SEAOURA PRODUCTS ARE A OVER COMPLICATED JOKE!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!! GO SIMPLER.
