Gator Icon Series Bass Gig Bag - Green

This is a Beautiful guitar case in my opinion, definitely the most eye catching compared to others, the quality is definitely a 5/5 if I could give this review a 10 I definitely would. My guitar means a lot to me and once I placed my guitar in the case I knew I did the perfect choice. Very soft inside with a tough well protected outer shell. Perfect fit on my shecter guitar, the weight of the case is definitely perfect not to light and not to heavy. I really recommend this case to everyone.

This case is built like a tank. Looks good and is made of sturdy materials. I was looking for a case for my custom made P bass- 35” scale with 24 frets and 49” long overall, and it fits perfectly in there. With the pad at the bottom removed, you could probably get a 50” bass in there. Would recommend.

Needed a gig bag to fit a short scale bass. This was it. Oh, and the level of padding and protection is next level. Don’t sleep on this bag.

It’s a semi-hard case is probably the best way to describe it. I assumed with the specificity of being tsa lock compliant it was designed around being a travel case. The should straps make it ideal. Unfortunately it’s so tall it’s annoying. The one place the case isn’t very rigid is probably where you want it most: the actual top cover. As you carry and move it the main zippers tend to work themselves open which is a huge issue. My biggest complaint is the “adjustable” neck support isn’t adjustable at all, and may very well not fit your instruments neck size/shape at all. The body securing pad seems to serve no real purpose at all, and is again in no way adjustable.It protects fairly well, and is convenient to carry by hand or with the shoulder straps, but it holds an instrument far less securely than I’d anticipated. Overall I’m not 100% sure I trust it to protect my bass in a lot of situations.

It holds the neck in place, so it does lose tuning during transport. It is sturdy, has backpack straps, and has compartments for accessories.

I ordered one, broken information tag and missing rain cover. Then ordered a replacement, broken information tag. Returned both. The construction appears sound but not receiving exactly what I’ve paid premium dollar for is unacceptable. This isn’t a cheap or affordable model, it’s supposed to be a tank, direct rival to hardcases. Being this flimsy leaves me suspect to longevity and performance in the long run. I would recommend a different case.

I have two electric guitars which have gig bags. I wanted to store one of them in the basement but the way my family knocks over things, I did not feel safe doing so. Then I saw this case. EPIC.HOW THIS COMESThis comes in a huge box. The case was wrapped in plastic to protect it (so if your package is in the rain for a bit, it is protected).POCKETSThere are MANY pockets and storage areas in this case. that is part of what I love about it. That allows me to keep my cords, pieces, and other accessories with this guitar so they don't get misplaced.STRAPSThere are back straps which tuck into a pocket when you are not using them. They hook onto D rings so that you can carry this on your back.HANDLESThe handles are all over this thing. That means wherever you need to grab it, there is a handle there. I love that feature.ZIPPERSThe zippers are excellent quality. The zipper pulls are also excellent quality and have bright red on them so you can find them easily.BOTTOM RESTSThe bottom has rests on it so that you can stand the guitar up for a bit and the bag is not resting directly on the pavement/ground.INSIDEThe inside is very cushioned. There is neck brace to hold the neck in place which again is fantastic. I can also add a folder inside which fits perfectly inside.STURDY?This case is very sturdy. I am very impressed with it. You could easily travel with this and have it take on some miles without damage from what I am seeing with the one I got.THE BOTTOM LINEThis case is the ultimate case for my electric guitar. It is plenty protected and has tons of storage and features on it. This case is top of the line.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. I was not expecting this to be THIS nice. It is so much nicer than many of the cases made today. It is well worth the effort to get if you need a solid case to bring your electric guitar with you to gigs or traveling in general. I really love this and am happy to have it. VERY happy. I can confidently store my extra guitar in the basement without concern for it getting knocked over like I had before.

Resistencia y calidad

Gillar verkligen den här gigbagen. Känns som att den är lika säker som ett hardcase.Har andra Gator gigbags från både ProGo- och Transit-serierna. Och om man jämför så är ICON-serien lite klumpigare än de andra två, men känns helt klart mest tåligt. ICON-väskan har många smarta fack och på den fronten är den lika bra som ProGo. Kommer köpa en att använda för mina elgitarrer också.

I’ve tried more than my fair share of guitar cases and nothing comes close tho the quality of this one.Everything is super well thought through and durable. Don’t go for a cheap one that will brake in a few week. This one’s a “buy for life” case.

20年程使ってきたincaseのTour Bagからの買い替えでした。全体的なパッドの厚みや造りに関しては合格ですが、残念だった点は、ネックサポートを変えられる範囲が狭く、最適な位置に取り付けるのが無理だった事。角度付きのヘッドなら良いと思いますが、いわゆるフェンダータイプのヘッドは表面から力がかかった場合、破損する可能性があります。また、ポケット内のQRコードからユーザー登録出来るのが米国外からは出来ませんでした。改めてincaseの造りの良さを認識させられました。

サイズ感は写真の通りでヘッド周りにも余裕があります。見た目はナイロンの表面で軟らかそうにも見えますが、実物を触ってみるとかなり硬いです。youtubeでメーカーの宣伝を観た方もいらっしゃるかと思いますが、実物を触った後だとあの乱暴なデモも或る程度納得できる感じ。収納はソコソコあり、メインのポケットはかなり大きいので、多少厚みのあるB4位の譜面やケーブル類等は問題無く収まります。少しマチが少ないかな?とも思いましたが、使っているうちに多少は伸びてくるんじゃないか、と。縫製等はしっかりしているように見え品質も高そうですが、まぁそこはある程度の期間使ってみないと何とも。総じてセミハードケースを探しているなら、良い選択肢の一つだと思います。2024/03/29 追記某サイトに、同社の別製品でショルダーストラップの縫製がほつれた、というレビュを発見し、自分のものを確認したところ糸がほつれているのを発見しました。外出で使用したのは三回程度ですが、数千円程度の製品ならともかく、この価格でこれはちょっと酷いかと。もっと早く気付けていたら保証なども使えたかも知れませんが…発見した時のガッカリ感がもの凄かったので★は一つへ減らしました。
