These soundproof panels reduced the sound of music coming through the wall from our neighbor’s unit. The music wasn’t very loud to begin with (I could barely hear it myself), but my daughter did. She is overly sensitive to sounds. I started with a small package, but I liked the look of them so much that I decided to order more to cover the entire wall. I found the installation simple and the adhesive on the back very strong. The only issue I had was that a small patch came off my wall when I removed a panel to reposition it.

Really good quality! Not 100% sound proof, but works okay.

Our master bedroom shared a wall with our older son's bedrooms who liked to stay up late at night watching tv or playing video games and the noise always bothered us. We put these on both sides of the connecting wall in our room and in his room covering the entire shared wall on each side. One box did each room so had to order 2 boxes at $165 per box. Also put some thinner weather striping around each of the bedroom doors. Have to say best $330 we ever spent. Did it make it completely sound proof, of course not. We actually don't hear anything unless he gets really loud and before that we heard him every night. We do also have a fan we run at night but before putting these up the fan didn't help. We at first just did the wall in his room and helped a little but once we also did the wall in our room it made a lot of difference. Suggest anyone that shares a bedroom wall with a teenager or someone that stays up at night to get these and do both sides.

Looks great and does the job! However, the color i picked doesn't match my setting; so i decided to return. Will search for something similar

Not sure if these are worth the purchase? Maybe we need moreThey are really thick so you’ll need to screw them into the wall. The sticky’s it came with don’t hold after three weeks and they are to thick to stapleThey don’t really help with echosWe have them spread out though on the ceiling and walls so like I said we might need moreWe are trying to dim the echo in a built in sound room for a band.I guess if you wanted to put them in your room so that you can’t hear your neighbors they would help lol

Soundproofing and acoustic treatment are unfortunately used interchangeably even though they are very different things.Sound proofing is adding mass and space to a room to reduce the vibrations into other rooms, thereby removing noise.Acoustic treatment is the act of adding sound absorbent material and mass to your wall to keep sounds from reflecting in your studio space, ie echo.These being panels, and thin panels, at that, they will do very little to nothing to reduce noise in other parts of your home/office. They are however, depending on your space and how many you get, are a very good and affordable way to reduce the sound reflections in your room. I bought the 10 pack and I have the perfect balance of acoustically dead with just a little bit of room noise. The panel I put on my window makes the AC unit outside virtually silent. They have greatly improved my recording quality by reducing reflections and keeping out a small amount of noise.Do your research to accomplish your sound goals for your space. While more expensive than DIY, these are a very affordable alternative for people who aren't super handy.

Very easy to install. Stuck well to a painted wall. Easy to cut with a blade. Attractive and definitely helps muffle sound.
