I have tried multiple manuka honeys before, but this is the highest MGO count I have owned, as I normally purchase within the 400+ to 600+ range. The product comes in a luxurious box customized for the honey set, with a beautiful wooden honey spoon and two 8.8 oz jars of differing MGOs.Many of the other reviewers unfortunately do not understand the value of MGO rating and are comparing it to any honey, giving it a lower review because of this. The MGO potency coincides with the honey's antibacterial properties. A higher MGO means a greater boost in these properties. To reach these numbers, more work needs to be put into making the honey, which is what causes its value as a product to increase compared to a typical clover honey you might find in your local supermarket.Overall, I believe this is a great product sold by a reputable brand that offers high quality, delicious honey. If you're looking to add Manuka honey into your diet, or looking to get a gift for a health conscious friend, this is the perfect set for you!

This is a very nice gift set. The honey is delicious and packaged in a luxurious box. This would be an excellent gift idea for anyone around the holidays. The price is pretty high, but whoever receives this will be thoroughly impressed with the product and packaging. Four stars because I think the price is a little too high for what you get.

This box of honey is packaged beautifully for gifting. Along with a wooden spoon, the box includes two jars of Manuka honey. This honey is sweet and almost herbal flavor is uniquely different than average clover honey. It is great on bread, apples, in brewed hot tea, etc. It is high quality honey with a very smooth texture and ribbony flow. I find this to be some of the best honey you can buy and it comes beautifully packaged.

This honey is so good. It is thick and rich and has a smooth flavor. It is delicious on toast,and in teas. It is definitely on the pricey side,but so worth it. It comes with two jars,and a cute little wooden spoon.

I've heard Manuka honey is the best/end all be all for honey, so when I was offered to try this set I was happy to oblige.One word sums up this (and from what it seems Manuka honey in general)set = Pretentious. Tried the 850 MGO jar and while it has a nice flavor, it isn't anything creamy or as amazing as the flavor text in the packaging mentions. My wife found it bitter and compared the flavor to a medicinal rub. For me, it had a nice floral hit, but with an odd tartness that reminded me of a sweet tart candy.Since, I was only in this for the flavor, I can't rate it very high. As for all the health claims and such...not going to consume enough of this to find out if the claims are legit or if the body of science around the toxicity of MGO is correct.If you or a friend of yours is big into holistic medicine (see the honey for the medicinal claims) and you have the cash to burn...this makes a very nice gift. Completely serious. The gift box that the honey comes in is very very nice, sturdy, and looks really good.
