Excellent value product for shredding your personal documents for your own safety. It is fairly quiet when it is on, and I DON'T think that you REALLY notice it as I I have been shredding my paperwork for a while now and I'm happy to say that I have found it's not a slow process for the machine takes quite a lot of pieces of paper at once and it will accept staples so that means that it is a time saver as you don't have to get all the staples out before you get shredding. It's do easy to and IF there's a problem with the heat in the machine it's got a good safety feature and it will cut out until it cools down enough BUT to be honest I have managed to use it for a full bucket of documents to be shredded and it has NEVER come to cut off I'm more than happy with the purchase of this particular particular machine and I'm happy to recommend it to you if you could do with a new shredding machine. It is a little on the expensive side, in comparison comparison with the others sold on Amazon BUT THEY ARE WHAT YOU PAY FOR THEM. I definitely don't have any regrets in paying for the dearest machine I could afford because I believe that you get what you pay for. It is a reliable machine and I'm happy to accept it as a VERY GOOD valued product and the end result is a load of shredding paper that is available for the cat's litter tray and it doesn't come at any extra cost to have to purchase cat litter. EVERY CLOUD HAS A SILVER LINING AND THIS IS MINE and my cat, Domino is happy with it instead of the cat litter as it is softer feeling on her paws than the typical shop bought cat litter.

A great home and home office Shredder. Smooth and quiet operation. Easy to use and keeps going for easily 15 minutes of continuous shredding. Like most mechanical appliances, it works best when it is not abused. Regular treatment with Amazon lubricating sheets is advised to maintain smooth trouble free operation.

I had a lot of old papers to shred and some were a bit damp. It coped well with everything . I was impressed by how quiet it was, and think its a good shredder.

The shredder works great. Large capacity bin which is easy to remove for emptying. Hand widow lets you see how the bin is filling. The longest continuous shing I have done is about 20 minutes without any over heating. Very satisfied an good value for money

This shredder is brilliant. It cuts up to 15 sheets, the drawer that collects the paper, when shredded, is easy to slide out & back in, it's quiet & most of all, it doesn't cut out for over 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

This thing shreds everything. Amazon cardboards without issues and for long operating times. Even thin but robust cardboard (the one pressed usually comes with products to protect it). It does the job. I did some plastic, as it does credit cards and CDs. I used like for 1 hour and it never shut down. If you want to shread these things, buy it blindly, it does the job. (If you want to compost and use it for worms etc, this one will work). Always keep in mind the fessure's width though, if the carboard is too thick, then you need to find another way.
