Now this is a knife. Handy sharp and easy to hold.

It’s hard to beat the value of this knife. It’s beautiful, it’s solid and heavy, came very sharp. Looks just like in the pictures. At that price it can be my daily carry and I won’t be too upset if it gets damaged or lost because I’ll just get another.Would make a great gift.My only complaints would be one of the little metal pieces that runs through the wood isn’t very flush with the wood so it’s not super smooth, but it’s hardly noticeable and doesn’t matter, other is the sheath has both a Velcro and a snap closure, the Velcro one is kind of just in the way, only reason I haven’t removed one of the two is because I imagine with enough use one might break off anyway(has happened to other knife sheaths), so maybe a benefit in the long run if that happens. These minor things wouldn’t stop me from happily ordering again or recommending to anyone.

I bought this knife thinking I would use it for a gift if I didn't like it. I am keeping this knife for my collection. Great design and solid construction! It is as good as any Hibben knife in my collection at half the price.

Everything in this review is based on the fact that it's a $20 knife. It's got the look nailed down perfectly, it's a big knife and it comes with a nylon sheath that has a velcro closure and a snap closure - which is a bit odd. I think I'll cut one of them off as two is kind of silly.The wood is not perfectly cut nor the castings really sharp. The blade however is much sharper than I thought it would be. The metal is listed as 8CR13MOV stainless steel which is a lower end metal on the hardness scale and pretty much what I expected.Now, you read all of that and say "so why did you get it"? It's $20 and for a 13 year old who has a small collection of knives and this is a perfect addition. It looks cool, has the right look, feel, size and weight. It does fit well in your hand as well. It would be a perfect gift but it comes in a plain brown box, so plan of rewrapping it. It would be fine for camping, occasional use and for just looking tough.

Has defects like handle too short and filled with wood filler or something and handle isn't evenly done in both sides but overall not bad. Hand made blade.

The knife is what I expected very good and very sharp , bad thing the sheath sucks, it seems not to be made for this particular knife.
