Will this violate international electric code to seal outlet boxes from the inside? Draft protection.

First of all, there is no such thing as an "international electric code". There are electrical safety standards that are used internationally, but whereas a "code" is concerned, that is local to a nation, and in many cases local to a state or province, and even to a city. What matters here, though, is the electrical safety certification for the outlet box, and in the US, compliance to the NEC (National Electric Code), aka NFPA70. Adding sealant that isn't part of an outlet box's design may or may not be a problem. To determine that, you need to check the outlet box's manufacturer's instructions. If their electrical safety approval for the box allows for a user's addition of material, and/or the addition of the material can't impair safety, then it's probably OK. One thing to note: if the outlet box is for inside the wall, and you are trying to use it outside by sealing it, that would indeed be a violation of the NEC as well as the intended use of the box. One thing to keep in mind: home owners can do what they want, and their own safety is up to them, but where it matters is liability to other people if a non-compliant installation caused a fire that harmed others, and also when you go to sell your house - an inspector will catch it, and you'll have to have a professional fix it (the buyer, their Realtor, and/or their lender will insist on that).

Is this sticky? and Reusable?

It is *very sticky* and probably not reusable.

do these come in individual boxes? i do not see one pictured.

Can this be used as an acoustic putty around outlet boxes?

We are using it for increasing the wall thickness our our drian locks, you can check with the mfg directly and see if they recommend it fo rthat application

Good for MTB Chainstay Protection

Used for chainstay protection on a mountain bike. Thick enough to keep the chain quiet, and the adhesion is very good. After many washes and filthy rides, it is still prefectly in place.

Edges of tape dont stick.

Bought for my bike for underneath stone chip protection. It sticks okay enough but about 2mm from the edge on both sides the stick is almost non existent. Cleaned frame with alcohol wipes before hand. It appears the edge of the band has become dry. Maybe it's old stock. Either way I wouldn't buy it from amazon again.

I bought this to have on hand and have used it in the past making electrical connections on large motors. This roll got put to good use a few days ago after a major short in the wiring harness of a tractor. Once all of my repairs were made, I tightly wrapped a 2ft section of the harness in electrical tape, then wound this product on and followed with a second layer of tape. I am confident that after using this product to protect the wires passing under the tractor floor mats, I will never have a short there again. If vibration or chafing are a concern, it is hard to go wrong with this product. I always apply tape first, THEN the putty or you will never get it apart again, EVER!

Used it to hold an oscilloscope probe in place on a printed circuit board while temperature-testing that board. Worked great, held fast from just below 0C to about 65C. Truly insulating - did not affect operation of the circuits it touched on the board.
