This unit will provide emergency power for a sump pump. I haven't actually tested the device, but I'm sure it'll work as advertised. If it bails me out I'll give it a 5 at that time. I added a switch at the battery providing the power to the unit.

I used this to install a coffee maker in my car. Great quality. Great price.

Tested the inverter first by connecting to the truck battery with jumper cables. The LED lights on the panel flashed and the system died. Returned it and won't be looking for any replacement soon from this vendor.

Ghost draws off the batteries.
