Yes, it can with stand any leakage of certain chemicals for boots, and clothing when performing a chemical job. It seals as well. For a met lab liquids, I would not recommend it.

Is this tape appropriate for taping window on an airplane while using paint stripper. Is it removable by peeling it off plexiglass?

I wouldn't use this for that....I would just use regular painters tape. This stuff is for when you need strong tape to keep chemicals out. I would be concerned about how removable it would be in your situation. Best of luck to you.

is it ok with sodium hydroxide

I'm not positive, but we use it with Hydrochloric Acid, Maleic Acid, and Sulfamic Acid, so I would think it should. We have used this particular tape for years wth no problem.
