Quite scary concept and suspence
They think it is hallucination - but the reality is much worse. Real page turner and I read it in one go.

A very different story
Unfortunately stalkers, are real. My ex husband stalked me for years. So reading this book 📖 made me realise how much it goes on. Nice to hear wood green police station 🚉 mentioned as I lived in the road where the station was and the cafe across the road. You certainly did your did your investigating on this area thoroughly. I very much enjoyed this book as it was totally different to the usual books I've read. So well ✔.

Decent read but…
Wanted to really like this book as I was aware the author had been a victim of stalking and was interested in their fictional perspective. A decent read overall but a little silly in parts and I guessed fairly early on which of the group was ‘involved’ though not the final twist. Would say I enjoyed reading but wouldn’t rush to recommend, sorry.

Chilling!
This is a very frightening and disturbing read about stalking, with multiple characters who are in a support group going through this. It is a tense read throughout. I was keen to find out what would happen and who was behind what. It really makes you feel for the characters as you feel a sense of dread and suspicion, really putting you in the minds of each of the characters. At times, it was a little hard to keep up with who was stalking who, clearly in my mind, so I found it helpful just to jot the names down initially. I did enjoy this story however, and found it thrilling throughout.

Brilliant thriller
Having just struggled to get through the last book I read (different author), this was a breeze, fast moving and I finished it in 3 sittings. Really believable fear in the people being stalked and real tension in their experiences.Clever ending - with a number of late surprises.

Some good twists
I haven't read any of this author's books before so thought I'd give this one a go. The concept was good and it wasn't a bad read overall, but I found a few inconsistencies which were a bit irritating. There was one scene where one of the characters went to get a shower, telling her boyfriend to stay in bed. But then her phone buzzes while she's in the shower and she gets out and dried, reads the messages, then texts the boyfriend who replies 'do you want me to come over?'. Bit strange if he's already in the flat! There were a few more passages like that, where the storyline just didn't seem to make sense. I re-read parts of it in case I'd missed something, but I don't think that was the case. I also wondered how someone who'd received multiple blows to the head with a heavy object would be able to drive a car from Devon to London the same night! Surely they'd have concussion at least?Despite these anomalies, it made a fairly entertaining read and on a serious note, I do think there should be more awareness around the impact that stalking has on the victims. I may try another of the author's books to compare with this one.

Disappointed
I love CL Taylor but this one left me cold because … well because the characters left me cold. They are all annoying and unsympathetic which made this book drag for me. The final 100 pages were the best but so many twists were signalled. A shame.
