HOOF-IT Blacksmith Farrier Horse Hoof Stand, Black

My farrier is pregnant so I'm trimming my horses by myself for a while. This stand made it possible. I'm a small woman and I need to be able to use both hands when I'm trimming hooves. It is adjustable so it works well for all of my horses and my donkey. It was a little high for my miniature horses but I made it work and that was not unexpected since you normally have to order mini sized equipment for them. It is nice and light so I can move it around with one hand. I love that you don't have to have extra pieces for different jobs. You just turn it around. Very convenient! It seems to be good quality. I'll update after it's been used a lot more which it will be. Overall, it's a great value for the money.

Very nice, light weight and adjusts easily and I also like how low it goes. Well worth the money.

This is a good stand. First thing to do when getting it is adjusting the post locking mechanism which you do by tightening the nut on the collar screw, very easy. I like the dual function, I like the quick post adjustment and locking function, but the base is a bit too light weight for my liking. I could have sworn I saw this with a rubber mold that goes around the bottom of the base to keep it from sliding, but it only the plastic. Grips good on my brush finished concrete barn isle, but slides very easily on rubber mats. All in all, good quality stand that works.

Every horse owner with a bad back needs! I have a 16h 30 yr old QTH who has a hard time holding up his hind feet. This has saved my back!

I recommend this 100%. It is lightweight, durable, works perfect for my donkey and mini donkey, saves my back and is comfortable for my donks.

Wish I'd bought this sooner. This stand is lightweight and sturdy one size fits all and can be used to hold the hoof for trimming and filing without needing to change out parts. Definitely a back saver no matter if you use it to trim or just to clean. I have used it for my small Shetland pony as well as my half Belgian draft and quarter horses in between. Easily adjusts height. Very reasonably priced considering other similar stands out there.

I'm not a farrier, don't know if it'd stand up to multiple horses everyday...but as the owner of four horses it's great for the rasping the occasional chip and training youngsters to be good for the farrier...

ich bearbeite seit vielen Jahren die Hufe unserer drei Pferde alleine (Raspeln/Barhuf) und habe dazu die Vorderhufe immer zwischen meinen Beinen aufgehalten und die Hinterbeine jeweils auf dem Oberschenkel aufgelegt - Jetzt hab ich mir den Hufständer angeschafft, und ich muss sagen: ich bin begeistert !!! obwohl der Ständer relativ leicht ist, hat er einen stabilen Stand, kippelt nicht und ist von den Pferden sofort angenommen worden. Sogar unsere kritische Jungstute hat sofort die Hufe vertrauensvoll dort aufgelegt. Aber das beste ist, dass alle Pferde ihre Hinterhufe bequem dort aufgelegt haben und ich für das Raspeln der Hinterhufe überhaupt keine Rückenschmerzen mehr bekommen habe... also eine absolute Kaufempfehlung !!!
