I hadn't tried these nor even heard of them. So, I bought them. Yes, I like them. My favorite thing is to put a dollop of whipped raw honey on top. Enough to taste but not overwhelm the oatcake itself. I have also eaten plain and with a small amount of almond butter. Yes, I will get again.

These are typical Scottish oatcakes (also known as "Bannocks"). They come in thick and thin versions and both are excellent. They use quality ingredients, so the taste is excellent. They are crisp, so know they are fresh - no stale oatcakes for me! I love the price because these oatcakes are not little! Two of them with some cheese or nut butter, a piece of fruit, and a cup of tea make a meal for me. A couple of them with preserves or marmalade make a great teatime treat. One thing you need to know, these are not at all sweet like Digestives or graham crackers! If that is what you are looking for, look somewhere else. I love these and am on my third order. They are now a staple in my home. They deserve their five-star rating and I have no reservations about recommending them very highly!!

Dry and tasteless

These "thin" oatcakes are not only thinner than the "thick" variety, but are also smaller in all other dimensions. This I found rather disappointing as I expected them to the same "size" as their thicker variety but just thinner...nope, you get a much smaller oatcake all round. Probably will not buy this type again. Same thing goes for the "cheese" variety, they are small, too.
