I bought an old lap steel tuned to open G. I put these new strings on for a C6 tuning and am very happy with these strings. I had never heard of this brand of strings before, but they were cheaper, available to be shipped the next day, and cheaper – – and most important they installed just fine and sound great!

If you want great tone and intonation on your lap steel then look no further. After trying regular guitar strings, which failed to hold proper intonation in C6 tuning, I decided to try these. Except for being significantly more in cost than regular electric strings, these will deliver that singing tone you're after.
