Poor Quality
Half the panels received never expanded (they are shipped compressed and vacuum packed) even after a week. The Color wasn't as bright a white as I would like, and they are extremely thin, even when they DO expand. The cut of each panel is also very haphazard, and as a result, adjoining panels don't fit together well.

Complete joke of a product, embarrassing that Amazon sells it
It arrives in a shrink wrapped sleeve. Then you open it and it doesn't change from being basically a stack of thin pancakes. The pictures in the advertising are a complete lie, the cuts and the size of the foam is nothing like what they send. They tell you then to soak each sleeve with water and then blow dry it, but soaking it does nothing to lift the foam. Also the foam is discolored, not pure white. Some panels are white and some are yellowish on the edge. Also, several of the panels are very thin and despite being filled with water won't expand because there is nothing to expand.Worst product I have ever purchased on Amazon.Don't. Just don't.

I figured it out...THEY ARE GREAT!
I read all of the reviews before purchasing the tiles. I still gave it a shot not knowing what I was going to do to resurrect the bulkyness of the panels. I then Googled what others did. All you need is a blow dryer on high heat. DO NOT DUNK THEM IN WATER. Take a panel and start blow drying them. I literally was placing the drying so close, but keep it in motion. Otherwise it burns! I did the back and front until it puffed out again. I also did each ridge. It was so great, just took a little patience and effort. Try now to blow dry near your fingers. They are great and it works. Please give it a try. I wish the seller would include the video I Googled for instructions.

They are thin and yellowing
I got these to use on my walls for sound proofing aesthetically but they turn yellow over time. I saw a review that said to blow dry to get them to expand. That didn't work for me. They just got hot. Now, I stuffed a pillow case with them.

I can’t believe Amazon is selling this garbage.
The media could not be loaded. Horrible product. Low quality. Not as picture. Not as described. Thin, even after it expands a bit from the vacuum sealing. Horribly ineffective. Someone is taking advantage of everyone who buys this garbage. You’d be better off using any foam you get as packaging for other items, it would probably work better. I literally have nothing good to say about this product, other than THANK GOODNESS Amazon has a return policy.

Trash
Came super wrapped and smushed. Tried separating them so they can expand and they just stayed flat. Will be throwing these and not buying from this shop again. Waste of money and poor quality.

Turned yellow after one month
I purchased the white foam panels to use on the ceiling tiles at my office for soundproofing. They turned yellow after about one month. I wasn't expecting a professional grade solution but at least thought the color would remain the same. Now we have to paint them. Black ones do not seem to have color change problems. The comparison photo shows new foam panels vs. one month old panels.

"Heavyoff Acoustic Foam Panels": A Lesson in Quality vs. Price
The allure of a bargain led me to purchase the "Heavyoff 12 Pack Acoustic Foam Panels," a decision I quickly regretted. Promoted for their high-density material and soundproofing capabilities, the reality was a stark contrast—thin, flat panels that bore little resemblance to their advertised effectiveness or aesthetic appeal.Upon unboxing, the deficiency in quality was apparent. The panels, far from the promised 2-inch thickness, were disappointingly flat, undermining any potential for sound absorption or noise reduction. This significant discrepancy highlighted a futile investment; installing them seemed pointless, given their inability to fulfill their primary function. The product's visual appeal, described as "Fashionable," was equally misleading. Their lackluster appearance and deviation from the described pyramid design made them more of an eyesore than a stylish addition to my space.Reflecting on the purchase, the low price should have been a warning sign. This impulse buy, driven by the appeal of a seemingly good deal, served as a stark reminder of the old adage, "You get what you pay for." The experience underscores the importance of thorough research and skepticism towards deals that appear too good to be true, especially when it comes to products where quality is paramount.

sound absorbency
First this kind of Acoustic foam is just a normal household foams not professional material. I bought 72 pcsfor my 350 sqft music listen room the result was not my expected but it did improved some . I think if thesefoams can make bigger and longer sizes, the sound absorbent will be stronger.
