My daughter wanted this for her birthday. I have used white LED strips on some furniture and had some experience with them. The box came well packed and had the small parts needed to either install in series or all from the same hub. The adhesive is outstanding. We attached the strip along the very top of the side walls in her bedroom, where one would find crown molding. Her wall is made from painted drywall. The strip easily attached and has stayed in place without issue. It was installed on 21 April so that was five weeks ago. We started from a point near a high bookshelf. Keep in mind that you will have an unsightly plug and will need a good place to start. There are three strips and if you run it in series the sections that connect the different strips are visible. The lights are very bright, and easy to control the brightness and color. The app makes it easy to adjust and set the lights to come on and off at certain times. She also uses the remote and hasn't had any problems. The remote does look a bit complicated but she seems to use it without issue. (She is 13.) The only thing I would note, while the lights can pulsate to the beat of music it only works while playing music through that one app. There is a strobe option on the app also. Overall we are very happy with the product, it has worked exactly as advertised. Shipping was fast. I have not had to go back and work with the seller for anything but feel better knowing about the warranty. I have had the other strips working for well over a year with zero issues so I expect the same here. With no heat, and no elements inside, I expect them to work for a long time.

I purchased 3 sets of the 25ft set since each set was less than $8 so I wasn't expecting much but these blew me away! The intent was to add these to the inside of some Lego buildings to illuminate the insides (I have over 30 buildings sitting on the self). Since these LED strips can be cut, I figured that between three sets, I would enough working LEDs to light up most of the buildings. I only need white for daytime and a pale yellow for evening to showcase the buildings. The LEDs are working exceedingly well - the color/temperature is perfect. I can also control the brightness with what I believe is 5 different levels. Again, perfect for my needs. Some comments have complained that the LEDs are far apart from each other. While this is true, this is what I was looking for so for me, this wasn't a con but a pro. PROS: * has an app that works (Android at least) well (the name of the app is hard to remember though) * The app contains the essential features I need (brightness and temperature) * Has reaction to sound which is cool but won't be used for my project unless my Lego people want to have a block party. Hmmm... :) * Not tested but it appears the app can control multiple light strands. You can also assign the strands into groups and control the group which would make managing larger setups easier. CONS (are only with the app - the light strips are great): * The app can do a lot but for my first time dealing with LED and an LED app, I found it confusing. For example, why do I need to upload an image as a background for the app? Doesn't make sense to me, I'm not spending a lot of time in the app so I don't need that level of customizations. * I can change the colors displ row but A) don't know why I would want to B) I can't seem to return the settings to default

Good for the price, but the colors aren't very vibrant. The adhesive backing is good quality and sticks well. The remote that comes with it is junk, but the app works well.

I miss these lights so much. They are sound activated and it made my room feel like a party every night.

I put them up as soon as I got them, they are very dim, very poor quality. And I cut them in the correct spot and one of the lights is a different color. In order for my remote to work I have to smack it on my hand I pushed the little lever and I tried so much and it broke the battery tray. and it’s basically impossible to take the battery out to put a new one in. They look very cheap.

These lights may be okay for certain applications, but they did not fit the bill for my project. They were more narrow than the ones I usually use, the spacing of the LED’s were almost twice as far apart as ones I’ve used in the past. In addition, there was no indication on the strips of if or where they could be cut to length, and they were not waterproof.

bought a year ago and they still work perfectly.

Update: dimmer can go very low on all colors with the (V-) button, one more star for that. Perfect for ambiance in my childrens bedroom. It can not be used as night light, the dimmer cannot go low enough.

I ordered these led lights previously. They worked for a couple of hours then quit. I returned them and re-ordered a second strip of led lights. The second strip showed up without the paper over the adhesive side, so obviously used but working. Definitely not as advertised.

Pictures speak from themselves. It's not as shows on the box. Spacing between LEDs is about 2.5". The product works but depending the project you will not get a flowing stream of light but rather pixels.
