Excellent RPG With Hours Of Game Play
I wanted a game that would get me engrossed, and I turned to the company behind The Witcher series. Granted, I bought this game in December 2025, so I wasn't privy to all the launch day issues. The game installed quickly, and I didn't get any crashes until around 40 hours of gameplay. It's since crashed around 5 to 6 times, but easily loads back up from pretty much where I left off. The story is pretty decent, and throws you into a dystopian future. It quickly introduces you to the protagonist, and weaves in some decent side characters. It is in no way, in my opinion, as engrossing as The Witcher 3. I've taken my time going into side quests and the DLS, Phantom Liberty, but I haven't really found myself moved by too much. Instead, I've just enjoyed the gameplay mechanics. It lends itself to a variety of gameplays, including stealth and straight up blasting. The gameplay is really satisfying, and even though the driving mechanics make you feel like you're driving on ice, it is nice to put yourself on auto drive and enjoy the scenery. The graphics are pretty decent. They're nowhere near as good as a good PC rig, but on my Sony Bravia 9 TV, the images really pop. Most areas are pretty well populated, giving you a good illusion of a well lived in city. NPCs fill the spaces and have enjoyable dialogues amongst themselves, but once again, not as immersive as The Witcher 3. It's a game I am glad I have played, but feel I will be more likely to reach for The Witcher 3 for a replay, especially for the story. However, fighting mechanics in this game are tighter and better.

Finally, a truly incredible game.
Everyone in gaming circles is familiar with the disappointing launch of Cyberpunk. The game was bathing in hype and anticipation, and for reasons we can only speculate at, was released in an unfinished, unpolished and frankly embarrassing state. The developers spent far too much time and resources trying to make this ambitious game function on last gen consoles, which frankly lack the power. It would have been easy to walk away from the game and move on to a new project - instead CDPR spent years and over 100 million dollars on adjusting, fixing and polishing the game. Finally, with this release, players can enjoy the game as it was intended to be. This is a deeply entertaining, content filled sci-fi RPG built around a core of great gameplay and environmental immersion. The voice acting and motion capture work on characters is significantly better than in any of it's contemporaries - even Baldurs Gate 3 can't compare to cyberpunk when it comes to immersive character interaction, even if there is less such content in totality. When the game launched, even if your experience was bug free, the core gameplay lacked balance and agency. It was easy to break the game using combinations of item mods and abilities. This has been addressed - the skill trees, abilities, perks and weapons have all been adjusted. It's a much more engaging experience throughout. The world is also more immersive - there are car chases, apartments and cars to purchase, arcade games to play, trains to ride and side quests to enjoy. The Expansion - Phantom Liberty - is frankly brilliant. An entire new main quest, dozens of added side missions, a new area to explore and a dozens of weapon and vehicle additions. It is included with this release as a code - this is disappointing, and a solution would have been to make this a double disk set, but it isn't a significant issue. Should you play this game? Absolutely yes. We shouldn't forget the state it launched in, but we also can't ignore the strides that have been made. This is a polished, thrilling and massive game. I have sunk over 130 hours into my playthrough, and have not yet completed it.

Huge game with improvements
Massive open world, and this edition feels much more polished than launch. Runs smoothly on PS5. Still has the odd bug, but great value now.

Don’t bother
Main game is great. Pointless paying for the ultimate edition though. As the expansion doesn’t work, doesn’t show up in my library or in game even though the code has been redeemed to that account. Tried contacting PlayStation and CDPR to get it sorted and both have been equally useless. Owned the game that long I can’t return it now either. Apparently it’s quite common if you have a quick google, and nobody has issued a fix for it. Don’t waste your money, get it direct from the online store.

Fun yet short game
Its an interesting game. Very straight forward and a small game overall. You play as a delivery driver with a small twist. Learning to drive the car can be difficult at first, but by the time you finish the game, you get a grip of it. Its an easy game with an element of open world. Music is good.
