I'm impressed that they are packaged in glass. Taste-wise, they do not taste like your average canned sardines, I assume because they are smoked. The taste isn't bad, it's just different. They are also very oily. If you want something different, these will serve the purpose. Again, I like the glass jar. I'm just trying to adjust to the taste.

These taste good but are from the Baltic sea which is loaded with PCB's and Dioxina.. do some research and dont eat too many -- it takes years to clearPCB's

I was put off by the reviews that jars were broken when they received their order. But my curiosity about this I bet my aunt about this sardine brand in a jar was great. I am starting a sardine, carnivore diet, and I wanted a variety of sardines to eat. Let me say I was delighted to find to taste the sardines. They are delicious. I will definitely order again. To let you know the case of sardines were bubble wrap placed in a box and that box was placed in a bigger box. They all arrived safely.
