UPDATE after 35,000 miles--the best tires I ever bought and still going strong
Bought four of these but haven't installed them yet. Based on numerous reviews of this tire on other sites, these tires rated slightly over four stars. The tires look good and brand new but the stamp on the side of the tire indicates the tires i received were made 3 years and four months ago and that is possibly the reason for the low price or perhaps they were just overstocked on this size. Even so, at this price of 52 dollars, these are a steal. UPDATE: put the tires on my car and first impressions are a nice smooth and quiet ride. Handling and braking are very good. Resistance to hydroplaning seems good as well. The only slight negative would be a little more impact harshness on sharp bumps although i was expecting this because these are high performance summer tires that replaced h rated all season tires. UPDATE #2: Have several thousand miles on these tires now and have upped my rating from four to five stars. These tires seem to have better rolling resistance than the last set of tires I've had and as a result I'm getting about one more mile per gallon of gas. Handling, braking, quietness of ride, resistance to hydroplaning remain excellent as well as minimal treadwear.UPDATE #3: with over 15,000 miles on these tires now, I'm pretty convinced these are the best overall tires I've had for reasons previously mentioned and looks like they'll make it to the 40,000 mile mark.UPDATE #4: Now have about 25,000 miles on these tires and still consider these the best overall tire I've bought. The rears are wearing out a little faster than the fronts but is normal in a rear wheel drive car and I still think will make it to 40,000 miles.UPDATE #5: It is now 2/2/2021 and more than a year after the last update. I now have about 35,000 miles on these tires and still consider these the best overall tires i've had. They will make it to 40,000 miles but will probably need changing by then.UPDATE #6: I had to change the rears at the 40,000 mile mark a couple of years ago, but the big surprise is as of today 8/5/2025 the fronts have 62,000 miles on them and look like they'll make it another 10,000 miles. I've never had a tire last this long.Note: other tires I've had in the past were;Dunlop d40M2 and Dunlop fm901, best ultimate handling tires I've had but not quite as comfortable and quiet as the nexens.Goodyear eagles, good overall.BF Goodrich comp 2, very good overall.General gmax aso3, good overall but a little noisy.General h rated all season tires which I forgot the exact name, good overall.

Very Impressed with Performance
I've owned Korean-made tires before and have been very impressed with their quality and value so I took a chance on these Nexens and was NOT disappointed. I have a RWD Ford CVPI that are notoriously buttery in the rear-end in winter conditions. We got 2 feet of snow in 4 days where I live and these tires just didn't care. When my neighbors with their FWD all-seasons and trucks with mud tires on were spinning out and couldn't get out of their driveways, I just drove on by with a smirk (not gonna lie). I did have mine studded but they performed so well on snow I don't think I'm going to get the next set studded. Even after 5000 miles they are still amazingly quiet at highway speeds for winter tires.Considering the cost difference between Nexens and Bridgestones it's a phenomenal value. I've had these tires on my car for almost 4 months now (with 5K+ miles) and they still look new so I should get at least 3-4 seasons out of them. I'm so impressed with their price and quality I'll be looking into getting regular all-season/summer tires from Nexen as well when my Sumitomos are due.Nexen doesn't advertise (thus raising costs for their tires) so that's probably why you haven't heard of them, but trust me, though my daily driver is a CV, I take great pride in giving my cars the best I can while avoiding being a consumer tool of the corporations, and these Nexens are perfect for that.Do it.

Nice tire.
I bought these for my older Chevy Colorado and the ride is much quieter and softer than my old truck tires. I just drive the truck in town and no longer tow. Good value so far for the money. I would buy again.

Good quality
I keep coming back to these tires, they are all I buy for my cars, presently an older 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo. Good grip, good durability, great price. USA MADE!!!!!!!!!

Great winter tires.
Great winter tires, among the best I've ran. I do an extensive amount of winter driving and have used most of the popular winter tires on the market and these perform as good as any well known tires I've driven with. Still on their first season so I can't comment on treadwear, but they aren't a super deep tread tire so they may end up being a bit shorter lived than some others, although the siping is great and goes nearly the full depth of the tread blocks so they should still perform decently when they getting worn down. All in all, an excellent performing tire, especially given the low price point, these aren't at all an inferior product as the price and lesser known brand may imply.

Great tires worth the buy
So i bought these for my work car about 5 months ago. I drive atound 500 miles a week highway and city. Living in ohio and driving through the snow belt 3 times a week i knew they would see snow. I have to say. Best snow tires ive had. Im at 15k ish miles on these tires and they dont even look like they have worn. Great traction wet or snow. And road noise isnt that bad. However it is a Cadillac.

For May-Pops these are great!
Great value for the price. I purchased these specifically for doing donuts on dry pavement. These are excellent! They roll clouds of smoke and are very loud. Always turning heads and making people wonder if I'm trying to compensate. They look great on my 77 Ford LTD station wagon. When I burn these tires up, I will be ordering more.
