Takes a second to learn how to use it properly (as with any gimbal), but the video comes out super stable. Also works fantastically as a tripod for taking amazing and balanced pictures or videos of yourself. I used it all vacation to take pictures and videos of myself and my partner, and works especially well when you can control your phone remotely with a smart Watch. Note, the charging may not operate with a phone case on. It folds to be compact in size, and the battery life is very good. The metal/plastic construction makes it durable. It’s a little heavy, but in a good way. I didn’t mind stashing it in my waist bag and still had plenty of space.

Updated I experienced great customer service. I was able to obtain a replacement gimbal and have put it through some of the tests again. The software that they have is one of the best i've used. The compactness is great especially for travel where weight and size capacity are an issue - not to mention much easier to carry around. Using the gimbal, like any others for us first timers, does take some practice. How to hold your hands, watching out for quick movements. With practice it does become much easier and the results much better. All the adjustments are easy to reach and use. Overall this is a very nice gimbal that will get much use and provide some good quality video - not to mention being able to use it as a tripod to do group photos. Definitely giving this one a try - you'll be impressed Prior I was hoping this gimbal would be the one. I did like the compactness of it, as it would be much easier to travel with and keep handy. I also liked the features it had to offer. All in all this was suppose to be the one i was going with However . . . It worked great on panning side to side. But when i tilted it downward slightly it got 'stuck' tilting downward and never came back to level focus. I constantly had to hit the reset to level it off. This was very annoying. Although there was a mention of a shake when you 'exceeded their' specified tilt range, it never mentioned not resetting when bring it back up. I must say other gimbals do not do this. For this reason i had to return it and go with another brand that was more fluid and more of an all around gimbal . . . for the same price

Absolutely love the stabilizer. I bought it for my husband so he could get better videos of his artwork and It works perfectly. Great value for the money and works as well as my friends stabilizer that cost them over $600. Battery life is great, it only needs to be charged once every couple weeks. He is not tech savvy but has no issues using it I would recommend this device 100%. Great product overall!

Gimbal ist leicht, handlich und einfach zu bedienen. Bedienung intuitiv, eine Anleitung Brauch man eigentlich nicht. Ein bisschen ausprobieren und man beherrscht alles. Leider führt es keine 360° Drehung durch, ist aber für mich nicht wichtig. Super ist, das man das Acku Wechsel kann. Man hat also nie Stromprobleme. Zur App. Gut und einfach. Leider keine Einstellung, um den Speicherplatz festzulegen. Funktion Zeitlupe fehlt. Ein kleines Manko. Ich muss immer erst das Gimbal und dann das Smartphone einschalten. Sonst kann es vorkommen, das keine Bluetooth Verbindung zustande kommt. Durch die Größe und Bauart klein und handlich. Der ideale Begleiter für Unterwegs. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

The first time I've ever used a gimbal and after reading so much and watching reviews online I decided to go for this Aochuan Smart X Pro. After just a few minutes, I knew I had made the right decision. I have Samsung S22 and will be moving to a S25 in the coming months, which dictated a lot of my decision making. Pros: - Light, I watch so many videos of people holding gimbals with 2 hands, but this thing is so light you really don't need the 2nd hand. - Balancing, I was worried about this more than anything else. Many reviews and comments online mention the difficulty, but I got it done correctly on my 3rd attempt. The first 2 tries I made the mistake of trying to be too smart. - App, I downloaded the app and within a minute I had connected it to the gimbal and was already recording. - Features, I haven't even got around to every mode, but so far I have tested interception mode, panoramic and video and guess what - you push the button and it does the rest like magic. - Battery - the version I have comes with a USB TO USB-C cable and has a large battery. - Packaging - well packaged, see photos Cons - So far my only concern is how long this will last because I've just opened it up. But if I can get a couple of years out of it, I will be pleased. Rarely have I been so pleased after buying a product.

This device works very well. As a beginner myself, I can say it is easy to manipulate and work with, as the controls are very simple to understand. In terms of price ranges and quality, this stabilizer is a very good model especially if you begin using a stabilizer for the first time. It is perhaps not a 100% perfect one, but in general the product can satisfy enough for everything that it has to give, especially for such a price. There are tons of other similar products in terms of quality and such that competes with this one, but (again) for it price, all the features this specific model can offer and the overall reviews ive seen, it'd be a great stabilizer I would recommend new users to start with.

I ordered this to use for capturing images and video of roadside construction and maintenance activities as part of my work assessing and mitigating their visual impact. Depending on the project I usually perform this task while walking or from a slow moving vehicle (not exceeding 30km/h, but usually closer to 10km/h). I brought the gimbal out to test on a recent project and found it wasn't adequate for my needs, though seems like it would work well for more casual photographers and videographers as my use case is a fringe one. I was pairing the gimbal with an iPhone 15 Pro in a fairly slim case, not a thick heavy duty case, and I found that the gimbal's smartphone clamp was a less secure fit to the phone than other clamps I have. I can appreciate the need for compact size and flexibility to support multiple phone models but I think this part could be improved. Additionally, the wireless charging feature never worked on my iPhone regardless of whether the case was on or off and how the phone was positioned in the clamp. The controls feel good and responsive, however require a bit of practice to get the feel for them. The battery life was adequate during my testing as I was able to keep the gimbal running during 30-45 minute sessions and charge it in between using a high powered USB-C car charger in my work truck. This use pattern is typical for my work and easily met expectations. The fact that the gimbal uses a standard removable battery is a big bonus as one could have multiple batteries available in applications where recharging is not possible during the day. Unfortunately I found that the gimbal did not offer much improvement in stabilization compared to a non-stabilizing handheld mount or a non-stabilizing vehicle suction cup mount. Perhaps this is really a testament to the iPhone 15 Pro's built-in stabilization, but in some cases the results with the gimbal provided a less stable image than without. In both cases I had to run the same software stabilizing treatment on the gimbal-shot footage and the non-gimbal footage, which is what I was hoping to eliminate or reduce by using the gimbal. The included app is decent, though the interface could be made more intuitive and it would be nice if it offered better explanations of the different modes it can operate in. I did not notice any issues with video recorded through the app, though photos have limited options for things like image resolution. The built-in panorama shooting function works well mechanically, though the software generates a fairly low resolution image and does not preserve the original constituent images to use for stitching at full resolution back in the office. It seems to work exceptionally well at following faces when paired with the included tripod stand, so if one were using it for something like recording the proceedings of a conference it could be an ideal choice. While I didn't test it, I could also see it performing well with features like Continuity Camera. You can use the gimbal without the app though some functions are more limited or, in the case of panorama mode, not available. I tested this while capturing LiDAR and photogrammetry data using the Scaniverse app and it worked reasonably well as I was able to use the gimbal's handheld controls to adjust pan and tilt and the stabilizer continued to work. It did not improve performance of the scanning compared to operating the phone handheld or on a non-stabilizing mount, however. Operating the gimbal can be tiring on the hand, wrist, and arm after extended periods due to the weight of the working assembly but much of this weight comes from the iPhone itself and from the gimbal's battery - neither things the fault of the device. By itself the weight feels good and the manufacturing quality is fairly solid. I wouldn't expect it to hold up during extended use in extreme weather or sports/action scenarios but the product is not rated for these uses and neither are competing products at this price point, so it's not something I would dock points for but is something to be aware of when considering a purchase. Overall, I would recommend this to an occasional or casual user or perhaps one who is focused on an applications like person-on-the-street interviews or wants to improve the quality of their family or vacation videos. It's a well thought out product and the quality is good for the price, though I have returned it as it did not meet my specific needs.
